sorry about the D24 I watched your first stint, Did you get back into the car?

Also the tuning series took over Wednesday night. Come check us out :) next Wednesday is open practice.
I'm not trying to impede on your series just lookin to get a group together if only for a night. It doesn't have to be a wednesday just any day I can get that said people would be free.

As for the d24 I got back in but 5 laps into my stint red flag was dropped for 1h 10mins then I did 5 more laps and driver change.

I'm not good at tuning at all so I would probably be more of a wall than a competitor in you're series though. The corvette for the d24 didn't feel right until I got on track for stint 2. And that happened by accident.

My apologies on the wasted topp. :banghead:

We have people to teach you tuning. And it will be of great help with the GTPSS :)

would love to figure out tuning as well. Must admit it keeps me away from events involving tuning. Due to some people who really know how to tweak the cars performance.
Tuning's not that hard with GTP and the guys in GT1 you can learn how to get there. Perfecting a tune is impossible there is always something to tweak on :) and with the GT1 guys there is usually someone with a room open. Just spent 3 hours tuning the turd of a car I've had all season :(

Maybe they could do a open room tutorial with a few interested. A sort of tuning 101 or something like that. That would be helpful to us tune deaf patrons.

Relax guys after a few team practices and a little tlc to the car we will be fine. See you at the meeting thurs.

I have completed my 10 IRs for the week. Now I get a little break while the rest of the stewards finish up and then I get to start on promotion and relegation. Who am I kidding? There is no break. I have a ton of other things that I need to work on.

I haven't been here long, but I think I can say we all really appreciate the many things you do for this league. Thank you

does anyone know the deadline for when data is suppose to be done by? looking at the data sheets D3 is the only one that hasn't been completed. All other divisions are done and in the books.

Time's up and I haven't seen the summary -- So let me help @JLBowler out while he is doing the other important stuff.

This what I saw @Whitey093

If I missed anybody let me know.

I think the rule is that Whitey has until 11PM EST on Wednesday to post his choice. (Ignore my comment in the room earlier tonight. The choice is yours)

Thanks or getting that compiled. I was checking a few boxes off the honey do list around the house. I didn't check it but I trust that you got it right. @Whitey093 has until 11PM ET on Wednesday to choose from those options.

The only real deadline for data is before the season standings are archived.

Hey there everyone. I know it's late night, so I'll post this again in the morning.

So I'm pretty sure I have it down to two tracks. Apricot Hill Raceway / Forward or Twin Ring Motegi East Course. They are both really fun and have similar lap times. Apricot Hill has only one 2nd gear turn while Motegi East has three. Apricot Hill is about rhythm/smoothness in the esses and Motegi East is more about nailing each type of turn, one after the other.

I know people have trouble with the blind esses at the start of Motegi but with this car you take it all in 3rd so you can have both hands on the wheel and work the throttle through the apex. It's mostly flat out. But still a blind turn and that throws people off. The rest of the track is great, but that one spot can be tricky. Apricot Hill doesn't have any single tricky spot but if you are off your line there is a lot of room for someone to quickly take advantage.

I have reached an impasse. What are your thoughts on each track? I'm not asking for a vote, just your opinion of these two tracks. That data will help me make a decision in the next 24 hours.

I think apricot hill would be better for the Z. the car understeers a bit and apricot would allow for that. plus we raced motegi recently so it would be a newish track to play with. Unless of course you go reverse on motegi which would be cool and new again too. I dunno now that I'm typing this out they would both be fun. lol I guess the only downside to motegi is that we raced on it quite a bit a couple months ago. not much of a down side imo. but thats all i have for you at this point. in an effort to be actually helpful here. My official position is the Z @ apricot hill. :)

Okay, so at least one other person sees it how I do when it comes to how the car would work on track. I'm going to make my announcement in the morning so it doesn't get lost in the posts at night.
