Scores for March 6 have been pushed to SNAIL Data and is ready for the Data Specialists.

Can't move him if their is nowhere to move him to! Also he needs to win the season which that would fall onto major who won last season.
I didn't understand you last night either when you brought up the season win thing. Only one driver can be promoted per division and if there's room it's only the division winner?

Winning a season doesn't necessarily move you up a division. The lap times are key. My lap times are still D4 laptimes. I hardly ever get a fastest lap in D4. I seldom get a pole in D4. I don't win races in D4 that often. What I did do is cut out my mistakes... relatively fast and consistency are the keys to a win...

Majors got it right , second place finisher in d3 last season went to d2 this season... PHEW!

A lot more at play when it comes to promotions and relogations than just finishing first or last

I'm aware of how it works, but to imply coach should be moved because when he was their he was fast doesn't work. He will get moved eventually but as it is we finished the night with 8 from 10. and would have no ability to ever bring a prize back to D4 with an even smaller field.

Attendance was low across all divisions last night. The recent connections issues hurt us. However happy to say that in D4 it was back to business as usual with no connection issues. Everybody could see everybody and we finished in good time..... and Coach kicked out butts LOL!
Did any division have an issue last night? I didn't see anyone go Offline last night from my friends list.

I don't want to feed the beast or anything like that, but here are a few stats to consider regarding my racing the past 5 months. I didn't race in November or January, 1 race in December, 2 in October, 3 in February and the race last night. Of the 21 total race nights, I did 7. My division place for the previous 6 nights were: 4th (68), 4th (69), 9th (60), 10th (58), 1st (87) and 3rd (79). I finished 3rd in February overall.

Golds - 9 of 36 (25%)
Silver - 4 of 36 (11%)
Bronze - 2 of 36 (5.5%)
Podiums - 15 of 36 (41.7%)
Poles - 5 of 18 (27.8%)
Fast Laps - 15 of 36 (41.7%)

So I guess you have an argument that I don't belong in D4, but my biggest difference between last night and my previous nights, I only had 1 real mistake and it didn't cost me any positions. I've always been able to get fast laps in my division. Just check out the consolidated stats and you'll see that. But I also used to make a lot of mistakes and give away positions. I didn't do that last night and I didn't do that last month too much. Anyways, there is my open life in SNAIL.

The difference as of late for why I've done better is consistency. Maybe this was assisted by my real life experience, but I'm not likely to say it's because of the extended time I spent with the SNAIL Endurance team running lap after lap after lap. You need to keep focus the whole race. 12 minutes is not a long time, but the truth is, we lose focus and that's when we make mistakes. Practicing longer duration events helps you keep focus longer and it also keeps the big picture that maybe I shouldn't make this ballsy move and just sit back and wait. The majority of my passes last night were due to others mistakes. Whether it was a loss of focus or maybe I put some pressure on them. Either way, you're right in that consistency will make a huge difference.

Consistency is why I've been doing as well as I have the last month or so. Same thing, a lot of overtakes due to others' mistakes and not being so ballsy myself.

Care to join Pack Racing tonight?

I was there last week - loads of fun. Not likely I make it tonight. My 14 year old son is leaving for Washington DC on his 8th grade trip tomorrow. He has to be at school at 5:30 AM. DOH.

Don't forget luck. Last tonight you avoided the big crashes on lap 1 and would get up to 3rd or forth in a hurry.

How the heck does one get connection like that??

For us up north its through shaw. its called broadband 100. it's about $150.00 / month. Not sure what gunny is paying but I suspect close to that. Personally in our world I think its worth it.
