I remember not just blowing into the cartridge but lifting the lid of the NES and blowing into the system too, those were the days
I'll raise you both. Blow out the cartridge , blow out the system , shove the game in hard, push it down, then slide it to the left. Kids don't know how good they have it 👍I remember not just blowing into the cartridge but lifting the lid of the NES and blowing into the system too, those were the days

Where does the Q-tip or cotton ball dipped in water trick fit into your protocall ? I thought you slid it to the right? Ahh must be a USA thing.
This was my go to method for stubborn cartridges. Measuring that millimetre of space for a close shave going down was an art form...You have to push it all the way in and then pull it back as far as you can and still have it drop down. A well placed tap on the top of the console could also work wonders for stubborn games.
I had one with Mario and Duck Hunt (single cartridge version that came with NES). Later, with lots of saving up, I got Metal Gear. I played so much Mario and MG that I would close my eyes and play throughout the night while sleeping. Did wonders for my school performance.......ithink I feel fortunate I was not priveliged enough to have an NES.
Damn buddy , what did you do
How you did that? Ouch!
Work accident. Manhole cover dropped onto my fingers. 11 stitches but should be fine in 2 weeks. Until then i'll be off pace because gripping the DS3 is difficult. I won't have the reflexes to battle so I'll just hang back and let everyone by and just have fun until I'm healed. At least I can fill a grid spot and maybe pick a few people off if they have major offs.
I had a NES when I was a kid, some relative gave it to me as present. The package had Ninja Gaiden in it. The game was so so hard and I thought ninjas were so cool, I was obsessed with it. Couldn’t stop playing for a good chunk of time and to this day I never being able or had the patience to finished it. That game is a "throw your controller to the wall" impossible. Whoever designed that game, he made it to torture people, he must be the devil in the flesh.

Hey guys, just another D5 video. Don't worry i did my best to keep it short but still ended up not wanting to cut it short as there was so much action going on between drivers, but in the end I had to muster up some self discipline and end it. Thanks to all who appreciate the videos to make me want to do better ones. At the moment I am doing the best with what I have and besides it is way too much fun not to do when I end up with a video that may not be ''high grade'' but still gives me [you] that bubbly feeling inside[ as my 7 year old daughter puts it when you feel proud of something you've done or experience so I hope this one gives you and who ever you share it with the same bubbly feeling in your tummy👍
ENJOY
This is high tech !!
Where is the Atari folks?

I won't play Project Cars with a controller. Must use wheel. I'm getting there, one step at a time.
