Guess you gonna have to save up for a wheel or learn to use a controller.
Never!!!!

I could easily buy a wheel with my next paycheck, but then only have a small amount of money left saved. I looked at Amazon and the Logitech G29 is $440 but Thrustmaster T150+Shifter+3 Pedals is $450. 10 bucks more. At this point it's just what company do I think will be easier to deal with if something breaks. The fact that my DFGT didn't break until now, after many years of use, makes me confident in Logitech but Thrustmaster has better pedals and the shifter does both styles. Hmm... Thrustmaster it is, just hope they don't fail

I've had 2 DF GTs die on me since prologue. DP does the wheel still work without FFB? It was the FFB motor that died on me both times, and the light on the horn stopped working like you said IIRC.

Holy hell did you just make a decision with out asking the thread for guidance (that you never follow anyways) Quick some one mark the day.

If you look through the thread I have asked this question a lot. Thrustmaster vs Logitech. I looked up prices of things and asked people here on their thoughts and opinions of both. After all that there were good arguments for both sides. Like I said in my last post, it seems to just be who has better technical support when/if it breaks. I don't want to think like that, I want to be confident it will work for a long time. That's why I'm gonna trust Thrustmaster.

But thrustmaster has worse tech support compared to logitech. And thrustmater has reliability issues. According to my research. And we have all asked which to get you have just been apart of the conversation.

I don't think so. The buttons weren't responding.

@singlepaddy what exactly broke with your DFGT?

Oh?

I don't have a g27...this a replacement for my DFGT which never came with a ****er..
I do believe you can rig up your g27 ****er to work with the g29 wheel without too much fuss though..
Now I need to know if you can buy a G27 shifter by itself. Probably not right?

I have a question, actually, a few.

1. What is the Snail policy about related groups, or group chats outside GTPlanet? Like, a facebook group chat, whatsapp, kik, etc...

2. I assume this have happened before, if so, how was the experience with it? Too many fights and picking?

3. If it's ok to make one, should be it one for all drivers for any divisions or each for each division?

Voting for S8R3 combos has concluded with results posted below. With votes and participation points both tied between the two Mitsubishi's, the tie-breaker goes to the applicable voting driver (those that voted for either of the tied options) who sits highest in point standings. gtr3123 voted for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX FQ360 therefore that car will replace the Stanceworks BMW in next week's lineup.

Stewards Announcement
3 drivers have cleared probation this week. Current probation dates can be viewed here. Nice driving! 👍👍
