I'll be testing some cars on the red bull ring in a few minutes if anyone else wants to get on. Also what are the current rules about the car cost, is there some leeway around 1 million or is that a hard cap?

The cap was raised to 2 million in April

Oooh, 2 million ok, well I'm going to test a group of cars under 1, and see what is available 1-2m.

Room is open its public but in the snail club lobby.

Did we just run that exact combo ? Yes , I'm that guy this time :dunce:

.....
Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select should
not
hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).
IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to select the Amuse Superlegara for your car, post "Amuse Nismo 380 RS Superlagara". If you want to select Monza for a track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". This makes it much easier for the lineup to be updated accurately and also prevents confusing other league members as to which car or track you are selecting. Also, please be sure to list the PP and HP (after oil change) of any car you select.

Car Selection Guidelines
See Section 3 of the SNAIL OLR, Policies and Guidelines.

Track Selection Guidelines
See Section 3.1 of the SNAIL OLR, Policies and Guidelines

New post as this is new information and people need to be tagged.

@Rpm1990 Your deadline to reply to the conversation or make a pick has come and gone.

If you raced in D3 on Sunday, you have the opportunity to make one and only one suggestion for Prize A. Multiple suggestions will get all your suggestions thrown out. Be specific in your suggestion. If there is any doubt as to what track or car you are choosing, your suggestion will be thrown out. If you suggest Deep Forest and leave it at that, you are selecting Deep Forest in it's forward configuration.

The deadline to make a suggestion will be 5:00 AM PT 8:00 AM ET on Thursday morning. At that time, I will gather all the suggestions into one post and anyone who raced on Sunday outside of D3 gets one vote. Voting will close at 5:00 PM PT 8:00 PM ET on Thursday evening.

Prize C selection: Formula Gran Turismo, should be 9 laps around Red Bull Ring racing medium.

If you're not nice to your tires you might need to pit :P

P.S.
Runner up was the Red Bull Jr, which I think would give really good pack type racing since it has so much grip you can take a multitude of lines through corners.

There's a gonna be spins galore! Mwa ha ha haaa

It's starting to look like a good weekend. Just need a good rhythm for Prize A and we're set!

My prize A suggestion:

That's what I mean. Lose your focus or get too lead footed exiting a turn and you're done. I think there will be two races: those that hold on, and then a big gap between all those that spin off. I honestly can't wait to see how this goes. Red Bull Junior would have been too grippy. It's on RM tires. There would still be grip even past the point where your brain tells you that's the fastest you can go. I'm curious how fast the D1 guys can get it, just for the hell of it do a time trial.

On another note, it's nice to see more +1M cars being used. Zonda R would be nice ;)

@Rpm1990 's pick is considered a suggestion and will be added to the group for voting.

I will not be making a suggestion as I only ran two races and don't have time to test anything anyway. With what I've seen so far, it's looking like I will be playing golf on Sunday.

I totally agree about the Red Bull Jr, waay too grippy. Also, I've ran a 1:11.8 so far.

Below are the five suggestions made by the drivers of D3. If you raced on Sunday night in any division aside from D3, you get one vote. Vote by posting in the thread the combo that you would like to race. Do not keep a running total of votes in the thread. It just adds posts to have to sift through and if someone wants to know the count before they vote, let them do the work to find out. If you didn't race, please don't vote as it just adds time to the process of counting the votes. Voting will close at 5:00 PM PT 8:00 PM ET Thursday evening.

I plan on being on the golf course at that time so if @CoachMK21 or @nmcp1 or anyone else could count up the votes, make sure everyone raced and announce the winner before practice tonight, that would be very helpful.

In case of a tie, the combo that was suggested first among those tied will be declared the winner. They are listed in order of suggestion here.

Note: Die_Birdy_Die's quoted post was edited to show the name of the car instead of the link to an attachment. His original suggestion post has not been edited.
