Opinion: I think the reverse GT Arena has a better rhythm than forward. Agree or disagree? Some Junior Karts would be great there

Maybe a time attack at gt arena would be pretty cool. Since GT6 is nearing the end of its life, we may as well play around with it a little bit outside of the formulaic stuff

Are there any autocross events that feature elevation change or is that kind of thing against the rules or frowned upon?

I've never seen an autocross that had elevation changes, but the time is pretty short to go over a course. I'd guess it's been done before, as some events in the Syracuse area are on a go-kart track, but it's fairly flat still I think. The biggest elevation change I've done is the parking lot at the Buffalo Bills stadium, since one lot slopes away from the stadium.

That's one thing I can't get past. I get that you're still driving your car hard and fast near the limit but the lack of elevation change makes me feel like an RC car on a driveway. The roads around my house are all fairly flat but at least some fun corners have some slight camber. That alone makes it more interesting. More power to ya though, I know you love it.

Y'know, I really think there's a few guys here (you included) that we could all really enjoy hanging around a campfire or a bar drinking beers and telling car stories. Coach, I could talk to you all day about racing and theories and all that jazz. Handlebar and I would talk about Porsche history, and then there's all of you that closely follow motorsports like Blancpain GT3, Formula 1, IMSA, PWC, etc. it's great! I know I say some stupid things but in person it would just make everyone laugh and we'd grab another beer. Would anyone in the North-East US be interested in some kind of grand get-together at a race event or something next year?

You should try it sometime. You can take almost any car you want. I'm sure they have loaner helmets, so you'd just have to pay the entry fee. Usually between $25-55.

I keep wanting to get to the IMSA 6 hours at WGI, but since it's the 4th of July weekend, it's always difficult.

That's the event I was thinking as well but that stinks. Next year it's the weekend before July 4th, with the 4th landing on Tuesday. Still too close to make work?

My family usually goes to my father-in-laws on the lake. So we'd still probably go even if it's on a Tuesday. But maybe not. I almost got to go this year, since my wife was going to take the kids to her brothers in Maryland instead, but her brother's kids got sick and we went to the father-in-laws instead. Boo.

We can book a hotel for the night and drive back home the next day :)

They should let people to track sessions, just check alcohol levels of course ;)

i enjoy both really. People will probably tend to like reverse more with adequately powered sports cars

What's ya think @CoachMK21 csm we come up with something fun using our own cars or at least something similar?

Something with a short gearbox so you can at least get near the top of 2nd gear, maybe 3rd on the straight. Old school Honda S800?

Less us know when you plan on being on and we'll try to join.

You talking to me bro? For C&M?

Random photo: Future man cave. Aka racing room..,

:grumpy:Lettuce entertain yooooou.

Tom........ Dark side calling. Spot reserved, just for you. Do it man.....DO IT.
Last nights Pitts race was a blast.... Gianetto on BH Indy. Super intense butt clinching excitement into almost every corner. I never though I would be in a tuning series, 'cause I didn't understand all the tweaks and stuff Needed to compete, but with the help of all the guys, we share tunes and eventually you get the hang of what does what to the car to make it faster. It's not that hard, good for me...

Assetto Corsa, meh, good physics.......period..... Oh yeah, the preset FFB is pretty strong, but intuitive, only one adjustment tho.

C+M, I wish, lots of fun. Make DP the only mouse, better yet, make him the only cat. Learn him how to bash. :banghead::crazy::lol::irked::lol::irked::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:.

I Sure do miss pack racing, most fun ever, especially the ovals, me and DP had some epic battles, opps, wrong guy. Sorry.:dunce:

After playing around on AC today, I changed my mind. Awesome single player game. It would be a big shame if it fails because of the lac of series racing. I believe the physics improvement is almost as much as PCars was to GT6.

I wish I could map my brake to my normal button so I could actually give it a shot. Booooo....

Map brake to normal button??? Oh yeah.... C'mon buddy, finish that racing room, it's going to be great.
You realize what's going to happen when he gets that man cave done don't you? He's dropped several hints. He's going to the Super Dark Side - The Abyss! He's going to get a P.C.! Then, we won't have him to organize sweet races for us anymore. :(

That's what he says... That's what I said. Save your Money Josh, I have 12 different racing sims on my Pc and they are all collecting dust. All my buddies are on console. Personally, I wish I would have stepped up to top of the line wheel and pedals, Fanatec comes to mind. IRacing is good, but not good enough to invest that kind of money in hardware just to run it. DLCs are ridiculously expensive in my mind, what little of it that's left. I only use my PC for simming, no surfing, no porn, no downloading. I still use it for flight simming of which there is a new Aerofly2 recently released. Might have to dip into my hooker buck piggy bank. It's been a while, so it's fat. I'll put Vegas off for another month.
