I don't know that I'd do iRacing to be honest. It's not all that fantastic to look at... and as a gamer I DO appreciate the fantastic graphics of pcars.

LABOR DAY WEEKEND ENDURANCE RACE
ROOMS OPEN TONIGHT AT 9:00 PM

Ok, Boys and Girls, we had a few cancellations. We are still good for 2 rooms in the Holiday event tonight. We can do with a few more though to have have two sizable rooms. Click here and then go to the last post and sign up. There is still time to practice and race tonight.

So far the signups look like this. (We need a host for Room 2 that can open the room by 9:00 PM Eastern time. I have a person that can have it open by 9:15 PM, but it is a little late)

What time is race time?

Hey folks,

Hope you're all doing well. I know I owe D1 some rehab races but I have been quite darn busy since I've left US. And the past weekend was a MEGA one.
Here's why:

I got a late call to race in the final weekend of the Asian Le Mans Sprint Cup in place of a driver who couldn't make it.
First time driving a downforce car as in this Ligier JS P3 LMP3 car at a track I have never been to.

I improved a second per session and finally got up to par with our ace driver in the sister car James Winslow who's multiple F3 champion.
The first race as you can see we got REALLY LUCKY.

We started from Pit lane due to mechanical issue during a late setup change due to rain right before the race and not able to get on the grid before pit lane closes. But as we got closer to green flag, the track started to dry and we gambled on slicks. I did the first stint and had to tip toe my first couple of laps, and push like mad afterwards. By the time I handed the car to my co-driver Yoshiharu Mori we were in 3rd place. some guys were on wets and the wets degraded real' quick on the drying track. The second half saw some penalties being given to the leading cars and with 2 laps to go we made the pass for the lead.

Very unbelievable and amazing weekend. I hope this will lead to more opportunities in the near future. meanwhile, here's the onboard from Qualifying. Enjoy! and SNAIL POWERRRR

Many congratulations on a brilliant result Edgar. That's a fair step up the performance ladder to a LMP3 car and hopefully it will lead to bigger and better things. I see Antonio Giovanazzi and Sean Gelael were recent members of the Eurasia Team and they've made their way to GP2 this season so you never know. ;) 👍

Ok, so I've spent much of today designing a custom built-in desk for my soon to be man-cave. As I continued to explain to my wife all the cool design features she laughed at me and said "The only thing that would be cool about it is if anybody actually saw it. Nobody will catch that!"

And.... Go!

I think I got the idea...

Ha! Actually, the desk is not for a rig at all. It serves as a permanent "garage" to sit down and work on my rc racing. The raised section serves as a tabletop for my cd decks and mixer (I stand opposite the desk for that). The sun rig will be separate behind all of this.

I guess the hidden design element is more hidden than I thought. Bummer, she wins. *shrug*

Any prize selections that have been made this week are null and void. The elimination votes are tallied incorrectly. @socalnatv 's vote should be removed which would mean that combo 1 received 8 votes and combo 2 received 9 votes so combo two has the second most elimination votes.

@socalnatv is still clear to make his selection for prize A.

@Ricky_Blayz and @Die_Birdy_Die should refrain from making any announcements or selections until the results can be updated and they are given another all clear to make selections.
LOL.... Exactly....Unless I missed the Combo posts....
Sands working on it, I know what I'm doing just waiting for the all clear.

CORRECTED (RESULTS) VOTES

Sorry for the delay everyone. This is the corrected votes for the races on August 28th.

All prize winners are clear to make their selections.

The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 3 - Audi R8 Race Car '01 (Racing: Medium) at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps (6 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @socalnatv wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - Renault Sport Mégane Trophy Base Model '11 on SS tires @ Suzuka Circuit 2014 (5 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @Die_Birdy_Die gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @Ricky_Blayz so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

I pass the freeze

Congratulations on your win at Sepang. I know it must have been hard driving at a track you never been too, job well done.

Questions: GT29 & GT-EYE Spring

The G29 brake pedal feels soft just out of the box - not mounted.
1) Is it better "in-game"?
2) Will the EYE spring fit;

Wondering prior to taking things a part.

1) yes! Wayyyyy better. At least makes my racing experience better with braking control and better slowing down.
2) Yes

I bought a Nixem brake mod so I'm going to try that and see how it does vs the GTEYE 👍

Hope this answers your questions and helps 👍

This video was a couple years or so ago but shows you how to install it. (G25/G27 same pedal base as G29)
