Hey Guys!! I would like to join snailracing, I´m currently on top 20 of the GT academy here in Mexico. What should I need to do to join you.

Regards!!

@Enzo_Goiko

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!
Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add @CoachMK21, @JLBowler, @nmcp1 & @zer05ive as participants. The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing club. Sunday races are organized exclusively through the GT6 Community features within the game.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread. If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL :cheers:

I did not specify a deadline for D3 drivers to make suggestions. I have edited that post and the deadline is 11:59 pm eastern tonight or when I get home from softball, which ever is later.

Just got the Logitech G27 racing wheel from @TEX36 and it's going to take alot for me to get used to it. Anytime i get into a turn i am spinning out even with the max torque force feedback and force feedback sensitivity set all the way down to 1. For anyone that has used or using a G27, what is the preferred force feedback torque and sensitivity should be set so to prevent the wheel from feeling like it wants to go all over causing the vehicle to spin out. Any answers are appreciated Thank you.

Trying it out more and more, shouldn't take me long to get used to the wheel.

OMG, that is great news. I used FFB at 2 and 10 for sensitivity. BECAUSE when you DO go off track, a 2 on the FFB will allow you to respond faster. FFB is at max resistance to your hands turning it when set to 10. Good luck and adjust it as needed.

@Die_Birdy_Die and @JLBowler my suggestion is Circuit de la Sarthe 2005 (no chicanes)

Not for the faint of heart, but the devil she be quick there...:mischievous:

Also I'm not sure but it may be one of the few tracks we've never been to.

@JLBowler & @Die_Birdy_Die

TO BUMP DRAFT OR NOT TO BUMP DRAFT

I must say that sound like the bee's knee. SPEEEED MORE SPEEED!!

I also vote for Cuircuit de la Sarthe 2005 [no chicanes] PS. NO TESTING DONE ON MY PART -i just welcome the challenge of the devil there.

I was going to download the new Nascar game today, but decided to read some reviews first.... Glad I did. Very few reviews are favorable. 79$ Canadian, I don't think so. I have been waiting forever for a Nascar game that is as good as PCars or AC or IRacing.
I like oval racing, driving, not watching and I think Nascar should demand a product that will help sell their brand, not another arcade game that serious racers laugh at. Thousands of oval fans are crying in their cereal today with tears of disappointment. I know I am.

You're gonna have to use your PC for some good oval racing man. Maybe I'll be able to join you in PC land someday and we can get our oval on there somewhere.

Probably pointless to make a track suggestion knowing how much Birdy likes la Sarthe, but I say "Dare to be different"!

My vote goes to Ascari Full Track :drool:

@Die_Birdy_Die @JLBowler

@Die_Birdy_Die track suggestion : Twin Ring Motegi Super Speedway. . Let's take it to an oval !

@Die_Birdy_Die @JLBowler My track suggestion for the Red Devil is High Speed Ring reverse.

@Die_Birdy_Die Those are your choices. You have until 11:59 PM ET on Wednesday to make a pick. Sorry for the delay but I didn't have power when I got home from softball last night.
