Below are the suggestions made by the drivers of D1. If you raced on Sunday night in any division other than D1, you get one vote for one of these tracks to take the Mercedes to. Only vote once, only vote if you raced, and don't vote if you raced in D1. Voting will close at 6:00 PM ET Thursday.

Prize Winner Confirmation

The stewards have completed enough reviews from D1 this week to announce and clear the prize winners.

After a multitude of penalties, all of which will be posted in a summary toward the end of the week (watch for this as it's going to be a doozy when it's finshed), the prize winners from the racing on Dec. 4 are as follows:

Prize A: D2 @JLBowler
Prize B: D1 @Nicktune is the winner but he did not reply to the conversation (again) so his choice to use or pass the freeze is forfeited and car or track selection will be up to suggestion and voting.
Prize C: D4 @pubason is locked into the freeze as a result of nicktune being non-responsive and turning his prize over to suggestion and voting.

We are on a very tight schedule this week. I will have prize A announced before 11:59 PM ET tonight.
@pubason you have until 11:59 PM ET to freeze the car or track.

Sorry! (again)... I didn't thought I could get a prize by finishing 4th. I will be more "present" in the weeks to come.

Voting seems tight and any track can still win. I'm not sure what kind of lap times we can expect on the different circuits and there may be limited testing time before we start practice tonight. So, I'm going to make a guess for each track and @racingchamp30 can set the number of laps for tonight's practice as follows:

• On the Nurb GP/F I'm guessing around 2:05 - 2:08 So that will be 5 laps (anywhere between 2:01 and 2:24 will be 5 laps)
• On Midfield it should be above 1:12 maybe in the 1:13 - 1:15 range. So that will be 9 laps (anywhere between 1:13 and 1:20 will be 9 laps)
• In case Motegi make a late surge I expect it to be around the 2:00 mark, so it will be 6 laps if under 2 minutes or 5 laps if above 2 minutes)

If somebody tested some of these, please post your times so we can narrow it down a bit. Otherwise, run a few hot laps during practice and set the number of laps accordingly.
