Then I reckon a lot of people on this board truly love you!

I feel so humbled

So do you guys like youtube build channels? I've been trying to find some cool stuff to watch on Youtube and came across B Is For Build. I first heard of them from Jalopnik when he made a Lotus Evora for $25K. He's done two wide body BRZs and is working on a Mustang now. It's gonna be a twin turbo upgrade. It's fun to watch what he does.

So I finally bought a t300rs dear god it is so responsive!

Edit: things to complain about I miss my control panel on the shifter/arm rest

Watch out for FFB settings on the wheel itself. Also Pcars and AC default to 100% FFB so there's additional ajustments to make in game.

First time I played Assetto Coursa I just about broke my T300RS. Pretty sure I'm dealing with some side affects from that too.
I get a grinding nose or a popping noise when going around tight hairpins, the wheel housing at the connection sleeve let's out a nice plastic "SQUEEK" from time to time, usually around fast cornering. Even the petals are starting to chirp and squeak!

Aside from that, it's a great wheel...

Didn't you have a G29? Do you miss having a clutch pedal?
I had a 27 and the eye broke should be here soon but figured I might as well upgrade

good to know! I'm planning on upgrading the pedals they feel cheap and for Endro racing I think they will get uncomfortable quickly

Haven't really checked them out on YouTube, but it's fun if I happen to catch one of the shows on TV. Always fun to think of what you could do if you had the resources.

The brakes are the weak point. I use my G27 pedals with the below adapter.

log on, click on CARS, then click, wheel settings page. Plenty of setting for your wheel.

There is still a debate regarding the FFB set at 100%, The majority say drop to 75% to avoid poss damage to your wheel.

The pedals do squeak a bit, I think it is an inherent nature for them as both of my sets have. The original set really squeaked and the replacements squeak occasionally. For me, it is the gas pedal because the arm rubs (squeaks) against the housing.

The peseudo diamond plate for the pedal base gets very uncomfortable on the heals during Endro racing. I use a piece of foam as a cushion for long races.

To everyone who feels the need to use the horn during a race or while sitting on the starting grid:

Please stop it immediately. It has the potential to be annoying and distracting to other drivers on track. The use of the horn is not expressly forbidden in SNAIL, however, use of the horn could be considered an unsportsmanlike act and be subject to penalty should an IR be filed.

The fact that this even needs to be stated is a little disappointing but we have drivers who use the horn excessively and the stewards have received complaints about drivers using their horn.

Un-map the button if you have to but at the very least, show some self-control and lay off the horn.

I bought a ps4 pro a few months ago which is part of the reason why I've been inactive. I have pcars and assetto, and while the gfx are amazing, those games are incredibly difficult with a controller. (and maybe in general with a wheel?) I guess anything other than GT is going to feel different.

If anyone plays Destiny shoot me a friend request, I've been playing a lot of it with rl buddies.

Football was another big reason why I went inactive. 7 hours of the pigskin getting thrown around on Sundays gets in the way of practice. What a season it was... I'm a San Diego native (my uncle used to play for them) and our Chargers pulled off an incredible feat this year. They allowed by far the worst team in the NFL to get their only win of the season! The Cleveland Browns were 0-14 before facing the Chokers, then lost next week and finished the season 1-15. Its a rough life being a San Diego sports fan.

Here are some lighter moments of football this year:

See you guys on track throughout the week as I try to get back up to pace

I'm thinking of going to the T3PA pro pedals
For the quality, I think they are very fair priced. I was seriously impressed when I first took them out of the box, and have been happy ever since. Original pedals never even came out of the plastic wrapper. The T3PAPros need a dab of oil on the pivot points about every six weeks or so. They start getting a little squeaky, I grab some liquid wrench and a paper towel, and I'm back racing in about 90 seconds.

So, do get to start making proposals?

Yes, If you raced in D1 this week, make one and only one suggestion for Prize A. The suggestion must be made in this thread and multiple suggestions from one individual or changing your suggestion will void all selections that you made. The deadline for making your suggestion will be Wednesday night at 11:59 PM ET. If you suggestion is not clear in car and track, it will be removed from consideration.
