Shamefully I must post my example of how not to start a race!:

This is not what I/You/We want to do;
I got one really good start and went into turn one a bit too fast, ran into @USERID_77a23 and then began to attempt to go right to give back the position only to collect @Raw10_2u who was on my right.
Then I did get to the right and off the racing surface, I let the cars pass and re-entered the track, forgetting there was one more, @MajorBlixem and there was contact and it took me nearly two laps to regain my rhythm but the second half of the race is how it should be done.
@Kgffy is the only one I didn't hit.

How long have you been racing in snail? Take some notes and attach them to your rig so you have a reminder. BTW, nice to see that vet. My Pops had one.

The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 1 - Chevrolet Corvette Coupe (C2) '63 (Sports: Hard) at Nürburgring GP/D (6 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @USERID_77a23 wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX GSR Touring Car '05 (Sports: Soft) at Willow Springs International Raceway - Streets of Willow Springs (9 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @Nicktune gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @Beastmodep so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select should not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to select the Amuse Superlegara for your car, post "Amuse Nismo 380 RS Superlagara". If you want to select Monza for a track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". This makes it much easier for the lineup to be updated accurately and also prevents confusing other league members as to which car or track you are selecting. Also, please be sure to list the PP and HP (after oil change) of any car you select.

It's all good @thorracing ,'twas just a practice, and a good one at that.Good to race with you again.

Correction to the results and prize winner posts above.

@Nicktune is ineligible for prizes at this time due to forfeiting his prize last week due to inactivity. This means that @socalnatv is our prize B winner this week. He will be added to the prize winner conversation (thank you @zer05ive for starting that this week) and all prize winners can begin to make their selections.

"I don't want to let go!" GT has always been the racing game for me, and I really found a home with SNAIL and that lead to many friends and a few foes, but all good. If anyone ever looks at the data provided by SNAIL you may notice my long time participation. But, many things do change! I have to put down the PS3 for age and function reason which will FORCE me to migrate to the "New Order" (PS4). There are many SNAIL already there, too. They have many rooms to offer, and continuing to race with good friends is a big reason to look to the future. So much is changing in 2017. I suggest you look forward to whats coming and give other racing games a worthy shake down.

Look for me on pCars, or whatever is coming. It has been a blast turning laps with SNAIL for many years.
