Forgive me, D-2, I'm going ahead with a Combo choice. Found one that hasn't been run in quite a while. Besides, the delay with suggestions would make for a late Thursday decision.

Glad to hear you will be coming back !!!

But, I will continue to fret over the points and prize situation.
I know it's tough to keep things fair and even in this time of SNAIL, but I'm just looking for an option for this current situation.
Same reason we went to the points leveling system we have now. The league had changed drastically then, as it has now.

The main reason for the adjusted points was that the division with the lowest participation was being rewarded with higher prizes. Going away from the adjusted points at this time would just reward the division with the lower participation once again. Under the adjusted points system, if the participation is even then the adjustment has no effect on who wins which prize.

I'll repeat, each division has the same number of full time drivers and D1 has one more driver who has raced in the last two seasons than D2 does. I can't see the future to know who is going to show up and who isn't and I'm not about to pack 35 drivers, that we don't have, on to the drivers list to get 12 to show up and race in D1.

Very nice. I'm still thinking about getting one. I definitely need to consider a better seat, the kitchen chair is just getting too hard on my back.
So, I hope this doesn't mean you're going to be even faster...

The office chair will have to do for now. The stand is great! Just have to get use to the new position. My hillbilly table was a lot higher. This has more "racing feel" to it!

I understand the fact that you can't predict the future. I'm not asking you or anyone else to do so.
I also understand that when you look at the current drivers list, it appears to be as even as you can make it on paper. Job well done!
What I'm asking is to look at the last 5 weeks of official SNAIL Sunday nights, and recognize the trend we are in.
The points spread from D1 to D2 has grown consistently larger from week to week.
Maybe a different modifier would work in this case. The math wizards might be able to work it out.
I'm not the math wizard, so I have no idea how they came up with the system we have now, but it worked real well when we had 6-8 divisions and 80-100 people racing in one night.
Things have changed, but the math needs to change with it.

Any change to the math would skew prizes toward the smaller division in this case. The math works just fine as long as past participation continues as an indicator of present and future participation. The elephant in the room to figure out is why drivers get to D1 and stop racing. If someone can fix that problem, the adjusted points wouldn't be an issue worth even talking about.

You got nitro in that Super Kart at Suzuka? Most of us are doing 2:09s. You would be lapping us by lap three I think....
I think vegas has a lot of open wheel experience. He's one of the fastest open wheel racers I have even known.

Anyone wanting to run some laps, I have a club room open. Please join. It's lonely in here.
Sorry, didn't check the thread until ow.

Watching the F-1 Qualifying at Red Bull Ring. Lap time: 1:04.251

I should have chosen the Formula Grand Turismo @ Red Bull Ring (full circuit).

But maybe the Lotus on the Short Circuit will be more widely enjoyed.

Yeah you have 2 fun combos going Tex. I love the FGTs but they're probably not for everyone.

Just wow. I'm using the brakes in far too many places. Are you using the ultra softs on those laps Mr Hamilton?
I used the same settings as Sunday night. As for the brakes, you are right. Drivers in the lower divisions often brakes too much or at some places where there's no need for it.

I said "brake less" in a practice room. (It was not a joke)
