@Dragonwhisky , just for that you can be Prize A (HON) every week.....
Since we off Next Week due to Labor Day weekend which i am still interested in the Sunday night race, what has been planned for Snail to start playing in GT sport. Is their a timeline how long we would still play on GT6 or is the transfer from GT6 to GT sport going to be right away? Reason why i am asking is because i am planning to trade in my PS3 around late September to early October in order to get a PS4 Slim to play GT sport. Not getting the PS4 Pro since i don't have a 4K resolution tv. I know that the release for GTS is not until in October but with time flying so fast, just wanted to get some input over it. I am still planning to buy the Slim version of the PS4 but wondering is Snail going to keep playing on GT6 after GTS releases.
I have a PS4 and will have both games when they launch
We have a question for all of those who are still on the drivers list for Sunday night.
Do you currently own or have plans to own a PS4 by the end of October? If you do own or plan to own a PS4 by the end of October, what racing games will you have upon or shortly after release (PCars2 / GTS)?
This is only a question for those that are still on the drivers list for Sunday night on the PS3 platform. We have asked this question in the future forward discussion and gotten good feedback from those that are not currently racing on PS3.
I'll start it off, I have a PS4 and will have both games when they launch.

I'll have car picked before Mercedes vs Ferrari practice Thursday evening. I'll have room opened hour before if anyone wants to help me test.

Labor Day
I ran a few laps in the Merc and Ferrari.
Merc - 5 laps - best lap : 1:51.651
Ferrari - 5 laps - best lap : 1:51.437
These are not Schmed times (@Vegasracer ), it is just a quick few laps to feel these cars out
Different characteristics. Both very satisfactory. Merc is a heavy brute and the Ferrari a nimble dancer (check the weight difference...)
Should be a very interesting night. I hope the 50/50 split brings fast guys together in the two different cars, otherwise we'll "improvise"
@racingchamp30
tenths*I also put in a few laps last night. Very interesting how the cars handle very different but in the end they come out more or less on the same laptimes. Brake early for Brutus down the main straight, once he's going he doesn't like it if you apply brakes.
Just a heads-up...expect Rednose to knock off at least a second on those laptimes during the race....my laptime with the Merc was 1:51.5xx with the Ferrari a couple 10's slower.
Thanks. Unless something dire comes up, I'll be back for at least this one since I'm pickin' it. You just want me to stick around in the hopes I'll get promoted to D1 so you can hand me a right smart whuppin'.
I wasn't at all certain I would be eligible to win a prize, given my (HON) status but it appears that I am.
Don't think ya'll are gonna' like this much but, gonna' get this in now so everyone has some time to come to terms with it.
I had a look here and discovered something that mildly surprised me. While not really surprising but still kind of astounding in the number, there are still over 900 cars in the GT6 stable that SNAIL hasn't ran. What did surprise me was there are still eligible tracks SNAIL has not ran. Winter is coming folks.
I was gonna' pick something to take to the Francorchamps but that track has been run more than any other, and for good reason I will say, but in the interests of being "original" and knocking another track off the list of those eligible, taking into account that traditionally, when this track, in other versions, has been picked it's a one and done, if for no other reason than the lack of laps involved, it will most likely be a sure thing to offer a chance to someone to knock another off the list.
I did entertain the other version of this track first and even taking a lesser insane car to Special Stage Route 5 Clubman / Reverse. I figured to get this survival event done first. After this there'll be 8 track layouts, 2 layouts that are versions of this combo, SNAIL hasn't done yet. If the Prize winners in the coming weeks get in cahoots with one another, those 8 can be knocked out before SNAIL makes the transition to another platform.
Personally, the goal of hitting every eligible track GT6 has to offer is something that oughta' get done before this track list is no longer available.
At any rate, without further ado.

3:24.279 was my best lap. I'm sure this will be a safe time as this car must be tip toed in several places.
Something I did notice however, if the back end wants to Littlefinger you, feed it about 1/4 to 1/2 throttle and it'll start to understeer. If the front end goes all Arya on you and tries to send you to the great sand trap in the sky, get off the brakes and the gas and it'll stop trying to cut your throat. Be ready though, as soon as you do that, you'll probably need to feed back some of that go fast pedal to keep it from swapping Arya for Littlefinger and making you just a hairy 🤬, cussing the Lord of Light and wishing you were back in the Rocket waving a dragonglass dagger and hanging a middle finger out the side of the car.
See ya'll in couple weeks.
