So I have made a mistake in my scheduling for this weekend, and forgot that we are having a barbecue on Sunday that will prevent me from being able to race. So, as much as I would like too join Ferrari vs Mercedes I will not be able to. Hope the Mercedes take it overall!!

Hey Snails,
Some of you may know this already, but I was born and raised in Houston and so was my wife. About 90% of both of our extended families still live there and we're heading there on Sunday to see if we can help in any small way. It's pretty gut-wrenching to see this amount of devastation to my hometown; lots of good people are suffering and have lost everything. If you'd like to donate to the recovery effort (and haven't already), the easiest way I've seen is to simply text HARVEY to 90999. Doing so will donate $10 to the American Red Cross. Feel free to post if you do as I will match any donation made by any Snails.

To give you a sense of what so many experienced in Houston, here's a video that shows what it's like to have your home flooded out. As it relates to SNAIL, this video is all about this guy saving one of his cars! What's most amazing about this video is the determination to save his M3 in the middle of an ongoing tragedy, and in the crappiest conditions imaginable. Be sure to also watch the follow-up video to truly appreciate what he was able to pull off underneath all that water. It's pretty impressive!

I did the Harvey text a few days ago. My thoughts go out to all of those affected there, it's a huge devastation.
Our parent company sent some air-ambulance aircraft and crews to help out I am proud to say, just a small part of the huge coming together to help. I Keeping my fingers crossed for you and yours Zero.

I am all set with a PS4 and G29 and I've pre-ordered PCars2 and will probably get GTS, especially if that's what we end up using for SNAIL- so I absolutely intend on continuing as an active driver whichever platform we use.

Won't make this Sunday's racing, my brother is visiting. Good luck all!

@Dragonwhisky, I hear Bethesda is possibly releasing a GoT game. Something tells me you're be a spot-on Tywin Lannister...

Unfortunately, my wheel is having issues. The up shift paddle goes from 2nd to 4th or 5th. The turn in is off and it's just a real pain to try and drive. Can't buy a new wheel so this may be it for my racing for awhile. My DFGT lasted since 2009, it's finally given up the ghost.

We have a question for all of those who are still on the drivers list for Sunday night.

Do you currently own or have plans to own a PS4 by the end of October? If you do own or plan to own a PS4 by the end of October, what racing games will you have upon or shortly after release (PCars2 / GTS)?

This is only a question for those that are still on the drivers list for Sunday night on the PS3 platform. We have asked this question in the future forward discussion and gotten good feedback from those that are not currently racing on PS3.

I'll start it off, I have a PS4 and will have both games when they launch.
Good evening @JLBowler ,
I'll have a PS4 at due time and the game that will be selected too

Hello Snails.. with the kids going back to school... now I can probably get some racing time at night time.

Is there an official route where SNAIL is heading in the near future?

I have a PS4 and have preordered GTS. Will buy PC2 if that is direction in which we go.

One more week on the road and then should be back. I did miss racing the last weekend that I was home. Picked up a new epi Les Paul Custom Pro and wasn't able to put it down long enough to get any wheel time that week. New toy made me feel 35 years younger.

Have a ps4 and will definitely buy both games and participate online in both regardless. So whatever snail does i will be there and ready to go.

I've been thinking about pre-ordering both games just to make sure i get them day one and don't miss out on any features. Haven't looked into it too much yet. Is there anything i need to know or is just pre-ordering from the ps store the way to go, simple and straightforward?

Took my wheel apart Sunday night into Monday morning. Cleaned, oiled, reassembled and it took three hours (with the help of U-Tube). Tested it out and boomshakalaka, it's back. Sorry I didn't do it earlier but better late than never. I still won't have a PS4 or a new wheel but at least I can still participate until my situation changes.

For those of us that can't go to the new platform, let's find a way to hold it together. The thought of racing again in open rooms gives me pause.

The oil made your car go a lot faster too!
