I’m just hoping more wheel options come out in the next year or two so I can upgrade. I’ll most likely keep my G27 as long as it continues to work with the Drive Hub but I’ll be saving some money to upgrade once the next generation consoles come out. I’d upgrade now but I don’t see a point when no one knows what will and won’t be compatible after the last compatibility debacle.

How well does the drivehub work?My Son is considering buying one so he can join us.

Extremely well. I haven’t experienced any issues at all. All buttons (including pedals and shifter buttons) and FFB works perfectly. It’s identical to how it used to work on my PS3. It’s also very simple to hook up. I just plug it into the PS4 and hook up my controller when I want to use it and when I want to play a non driving game, I just unplug the Drive Hub and turn my controller back on. The whole process takes seconds. I’d say it’s absolutely worth the price since it saves you a couple of hundred dollars that you’d have to spend on a new wheel that may or may not work when the next generation if systems come out in a couple of years.

Gentlemen...choose your weapons. Here's mine for Sunday

Is there really a difference between the M Power Livery M6 and the Walkenhorst Motorsports M6?? Asking for Sunday night Snail race

I say busted because it seems that I get punted at the start of every race, fall to last, get -sr for that section and then proceed to race a clean race but still get overall -sr. It doesn't make sense... ex. Maggiore race last night I qualified first, started race well, turn 1 & 2 no problem, but turn 3 someone cut the corner and slid into me sending me into the far wall. I got smacked with an 8 sec time penalty and -sr. Finished that race clean afterwards and still overall -sr race.

So basically, despite the "etiquette" training, its still the same ol online lobby? That sounds highly frustrating, and a big reason I came to this league back in the gt5 days. Getting wrecked, on purpose, at the end of a race is beyond rage quitting for me.

so.. too bad that Maggiore was taken down already. Wanted to race that again in Sports. However, the Audi TT Race at the new track is also quite fun.
1st race, only got 2 laps and did not qualify well. Started 11th, finish 6th and yes, a bit messy at the back; but not necessarily because of aggressive driving, just Noob driving.

2nd race, shoved 5 seconds off the qualifying and started 2nd. The Pole had almost a full second faster lap; however, he made a breaking mistake early in the race and never looked back. Most are trying to have good clean races... so I do not get the Jungle House feeling from GT6.

In a nutshell.. seems like a big improvement, but obviously it depends where you start on the grid and the few one offs that happen to enter with very aggressive behavior. When I find those ahead of me, I find it easy to make them commit to a mistake and they never catch up again.

That M6 at Interlagos is a Monster!!!!
@Rednose58 when are you tutoring hours?

I've done only 3 sport races of the Sport races. Two the other night and one last night at Kyoto. I got in late, so I started in 14th and had moved to 3rd in 3 laps (out of 7). Then there was a moron doing donuts on the start/finish line and was "ghosted" when the 2nd place car went by, but then un-ghosted for me and sent me spinning. I didn't get a penalty, but it knocked me back to 9th by the time it "placed" me back on track. Both the ghosting and getting placed back on track are dumb, but that moron was even worse.

Same here. So far so good. I review the grid list before the race, and anyone with less than an A rating, I take a mental note of the names and extra caution when close. So far that approach has worked well for me.
I had the silliest -sr race just now, qualified pole, whole race clean, last turn on last lap 2nd place cuts the corner and sideswipes me, I got a 5 sec penalty and overall -sr race. Idk how this system works...

Still can’t play any replays. Blue screen error every time. No matter where they come from.

Should I try to reinstall the game? I watched one last week so not sure what changed?

I have not had any problem replaying my own replays. but I have not tried loading anything external. But yes, that is a good troubleshooting, reinstalling does not hurt anything.

Except possibly losing all your data and progress to this point. What is your internet speed?

Found this in a forum
I recommend 10MBps download speeds at least. That way if someone else in the home is streaming Netflix or Youtube, your gaming shouldn't be affected. Next, as what others are saying, you'll want to go wired. It's the best connection between the PS4 and your Internet.

I would wait until the update hits, it drops between 4 and 6 am GMT tomorrow.
on that note, heres to hoping some of our troubles are updated away.

Whos hosting practice tonight? And has anyone tested to see if private lobbies are functional now? Itd be unfortunate if a bunch of randoms take up spots for SNAILS that want in but the lobby is full. And I cant see the randoms following our new qualifying procedure(s). Its hard enough to get some of them to select the right car to drive. I think a private lobby would make more sense than a public one.

I think we need at least two lobbies tonight.

Can we get volunteers for D1/D2 (@MSgtGunny , @JamCar0ne , or anybody else?) and D3/D4/D5 (@Wolfsatz , @TomMang_68 , or anybody else?)

If both rooms are full, Send me a PM on the PSN messenger and I will open a third room.

Remember, we want to check out the new qually procedure. Please read it again.

And remember the start of the BMW in Brazil. Practice a few before the race starts. You don't want to wipe out the whole field behind you.
