So where are the next races officially announced?

Btw I'm pretty sure they will add Sarthe because there's a trophy for it.

Look up what the requirements for that trophy are. You can satisfy those requirements within the current release of the game.

I tried a few different things on the beast and it almost looks more beastly now...

I think thats another good reason for streaming. Since we are qualifying in "free run" conditions there is no replay to be saved. I dont know how the stewards would be able to prove if someone was on or off the track during qualifying without a replay. With a stream youd have a much better chance of having evidence. Hopefully this wont be much of an issue though, you just need to tread lightly while qualifying.

If you don't want to live stream but you still want to save a video clip of your qually, you can press the share button twice before you start your out lap and press it twice again after you completed your hot lap. This will save a video clip of your qually laps in the Capture Gallery outside the game. If you see something reportable, you have evidence to support your case. I think you can export that clip to a USB too and watch on your computer if I'm not mistaken or you can also export that to you-tube.

You can upload it to YouTube straight from the PS4. That's the easiest and quickest way to share PS4 gameplay videos.

The DTC is / was (I'm not sure at this point what it does) a series that required the driver to choose four cars with four different drivetrains and stay under a PP cap. It really was a lot of fun and required a good bit of strategy.
But with the destruction of the PP system we will have to think of another way to tweak it.

I have two requests of this community. If anyone see's a great deal on the T150 pro upcoming please let me know, also how the hell do I hyperlink to peoples names in this forum without using the link button for each name?

Want to also say thanks to everyone I've raced with, a fun community here and the hospitality I have been shown has made my frustration (with my terrible driving skills) bearable. Hope to meet more of you in practices in the future.

Back in the days when I joined in GT5 days in D5; the best tool that helped me is chasing my own ghost. You are your own worst enemy on the track.
Racing against your ghost allows you to see where you are making mistakes, correct them on the fly and start improving.

Also, always start by 'driving' the car instead of racing the car. Power is nothing without control as Pirelli says.

This is important especially on a new track. Don’t try to go balls out and run off the track at every turn because you are panic braking.

Just cruise around like you are on an unfamiliar mountain road for a few laps and steadily increase pace as you start to recognize the road.

You also have to build up some confidence to push it harder and harder.

I don't want to get into the whole Thrustmaster vs. Logitech discussion but Best Buy has the G29 on sale for $200 if you're interested.

I myself almost pulled the trigger since I've had no problems with my G27 over the last almost 7 years of use.

I'm going to call out @Lessen right now because his build log has me contemplating a new rig as well as perusing this site on an almost daily basis.

Yea I did see that and it includes the shifter for that price, but while also not trying to start a debate I think I prefer to start with the belt driven FFB as I have no experience with any FFB wheels, or wheels racing at all. Going to build a stand find a chair/car seat to attach.

The only reason I had to buy a G29 was because my DFGT broke. Otherwise if you have a G27 I would look into that Drivehub thing.

I don't think there is a way to drive against your ghost in GTS with tire wear and fuel use turned on. This was also the case in GT6, and made it very difficult to really properly practice combos. The only place I have seen in GTS where you can drive any combo you want and have tire wear on is arcade mode - custom races, and there is no ghost when doing those. Very frustrating that they still have not made this possible.

It might be beneficial to read an entire comment? See the bold.

Tec. Dell has the t150 for 189 usd. However, with black friday and cyber monday on the horizon, you mighht wanna hold off. You may find that something like the t300 or t500 priced down to a comparable price, and the t150 far closer to 100.

Well the reason I was looking at the T150 Pro is that is comes with the 3 pedal metal set the t300 has, and I haven't found many reliability issue posts with the T150 as I have with the 300/500. I know It's a newer wheel than the others and that could be why. Nearly all negative reviews about the 150 are strictly based on the pedals.

@nmcp1 While lessen's build is very nice(exquisite in fact), it's also very time intensive. I don't plan for or want to do that much router work. My stand/chair combo will be functional and ugly, also as light as possible. Drills, Mitre saw, nails, screws and glue for me.
