Here is my two pennies worth on sports:

- You can't enjoy a sport if you don't understand the rules, strategies and skill required to play the game.
- If you understand all of the above and you still don't like the sport, then move on to the sport you like.
- Professional sportspeople sometimes make it look boring because they have mastered the skills and make impossible plays look so easy. Go and replicate what they do and you will have a new appreciation for that sport.
- Natural talent is an essential ingredient together with hard work to get to the top. There are not many sports where hard work only brings you to the top on a professional level.
- If you don't like American Football, but there is a Superbowl Party nearby - get out of your cave and go party! Social interaction may be healthy for you.

 👍

Are you talking about SNAIL Racing?

For the record, I never said you were comparing soccer with other sports. It's just a general statement when this type of conversation comes up. It's a simple mistake people make.
By non-contact I simply mean the rules within each game limits the type and amount of contact that can be made within the rules governing each sport respectively. American football players are trained in contact deflection, angles of attack, spin techniques, jump/landing techniques and way more safety and avoidance measurements than I can cover in a forum. The photos you show and the descriptions of your own personal experiences can hopefully be described as incidental or accidental contact causing injury and not intentional.

Baseball, softball, soccer, and basketball are Contact sports. Players make contactwith each other, and there may be a collision but not typically. Football, lacrosse and ice hockey are Collision sports. ...

Current medical terminology in the United States uses the term collision sport to refer to sports like rugby, roller derby, American football, ice hockey, and lacrosse, the term contact sport to refer to sports such as soccer and basketball, and the term limited-contact sport to sports like squash and baseball.

Eh sounds like we may want to axe tire wear until this is fixed:

My lovely T300 likes to phantom press the options button randomly while I am using it (common T300 issue). I always thought it was a bug, maybe its a feature
My T300 does this in PCars2 occasionally, punts me into the menu screen or changes my HUD.....especially fun while in a corner.
I just bit the bullet an a Fanatec CSL elite and the club sport V3 pedals. They should be in next week.:cool:

Now that is a serious upgrade!

You have to do a little more than touch the options button to reset the tires. You actually have to move the cursor over to options and select it. No need to abandon tire wear when we already have a rule prohibiting the use of cheats or bugs, this would qualify, we should be able to go about with business as usual. If anyone is caught utilizing this bug, they can rest assured that punishment will be swift and severe.

Anyone have Strategy Suggestions for the Porsche 911 GT3 30-lap Endurance race at Suzuka?
Race hard tires worked for me. Just pit as necessary for fuel. I think I was able to do a final, short stint on race sorts.

I'm planning on another "unofficial" practice session tonight, starting at 7:00 (CST).

Lately I've been following this format, which has worked pretty nicely:
- 2 races at each combo, but not full length (3 laps at each)
- Keep cycling through the combos until I'm all alone
- Non-snails are welcome, but I'll boot as necessary (inspired by @Wolfsatz)

Edit: Room now open:

You can count me in on this. I need to brush up, been racing with TCS on...

I’m slipping, I know! Pun intended.

I'll get on as soon as TKD class is over.

If you haven’t heard yet, I have an incredible opportunity to compete in the Aussie Driver Search to win a FULLY PAID, full season ride for 2019 to race professionally in the Australian Dunlop Super2 Series (V8 Supercars feeder series).

This is a huge opportunity and it would mean everything to me if you could please like, love, share, and donate if possible to make this a reality! There is an up front entry fee of $4950 with a $2000 deposit due by February 10th. We are already up to $1295 in less than 24 hours!

Unfortunately, I’m not currently in a position to cover the entry fee out of pocket but am hoping it will all come together with some help. A huge thank you in advance to everyone who plays a part in supporting me and this effort!
