totally different cars, they are like comparing a standard gtr to the blackReally? Two of basically the same Mercedes-Benz. Come on, that's like picking two GTRs that are basically the same. I can't even practice tonight, because I didn't have enough funds for both cars. SMH
Even that's not accurate. It's like comparing a first gen R35 with the newest iteration of R35 GT-3 car. One is a road car and the other is the successor generation's GT3 variant.totally different cars, they are like comparing a standard gtr to the black

Are both cars Mercedes-Benz AMGs. Yup! Ones for racing, ones for street those are the only difference. A different Mercedes-Benz that's not an AMG or a different brand name. To me, that's picking different cars.

If you don't like the combos win your division night. Otherwise quit your b:censored:in and race.
Did you check your garage? The game loves to gift the MERCEDES-AMG GT S 2015, I have four of them!!
When I was in the dealership it didn't show me owning the car. Maybethex game only shows owning a dealership car if you purchased the car from the dealership. I didn't check. Doesn't matter now, because I raced until I have enough funds to purchase the car. With my luck, I was gifted the car and bought the car anyway. LoL
.... and having the AMG designation does not make it a racing car. Perhaps racing inspired, but a Road Car is not a track car!
My condolences. Sad to hear about your grandmother."CENSORED?" I voice my displeasure about one thing and it's called "censored." "Censored" would be repeatedly complaining about the same thing. I did nothing wrong. As for winning my division night when I race I race to always win. That doesn't mean I will win. Plus, if you must know I haven't raced the last two Sundays, because my grandmother passed away and I've been dealing with that. I'm not complaining about a race incident on the tread, so cut me some slack. If you want to get technical I could say your sarcastic response is a form of "censored" to my comment.

I think you may have missed the point there tbong, no one was censoring you. The censored bit was the word tom wrote. He was saying win and make a different choice, race or don't but don't complain about the choices others make. They won, they get to pick. Hope stuff gets better for you.
Looks like I quoted the wrong post, sorry about that.

I would like to rejoin racing on Sundays . I may still be listed as active, but either way...
@JLBowler so am I just waiting for an @nmcp1 reply? or do i need to post again like so, "I have read the first post and would like to re-join.".The road car has 503 HP and weighs 3461 lbs. The race car has 570 HP and weighs 2976 lbs. 70 HP and 500 lbs. along with the fact that one has a full cage while the other is a production car built for the road. Aside from having the same general body shape, they really are not that similar. We will run the road car on sports tires and the race car on race tires. The suspension is going to be very different between the two cars as well.
@TBongX please stop double and triple posting. If you want to quote multiple messages, use the +Quote button instead of the reply button. This will let you quote multiple posts in one post of your own.
You're not on the drivers list so you will follow the same procedure as a new driver. Please read the first post and follow the instructions for joining us.

@TomMang_68 and anyone else with a T300rs wanting to upgrade the stock pedals: go straight to the T3PA Pros and avoid the regular T3PA pedals. I started with the stock pedals which are actually worse quality than the pedals on my old Logitech DF pro. They failed after a week. The throttle spring wouldn't stay in place.
Picked up the T3PAs and while they are a huge improvement over the stock pedals, they have a few issues. Firstly they squeak. They are mostly plastic with the exception of the pedal face plate. IMO they are inferior to my old GTEye modded G27 pedals.
Picked up the Pros. They are about 60 bucks Canadian more than the regular T3PA pedals . Huge difference between the two sets. The pros have a thicker spring on the brake pedal. Brake pedal conical brake mod also has more adjustability. And the entire pedal set is made of metal; thing has to weigh 15 or more lbs. Very good pedals.
For the 50 bucks US, go for the Pro Pedals.
I'm working on plans to have a new rig together by April at the latest. Was thinking of purchasing a rig (GT Omega Pro or Grandstand) and getting a G29, but now leaning towards getting another T300 with Pro Pedals and making my own rig. A mix of the Insidesimracing deathmobile and Richmotech RS1 diy rig.
I'm very excited about this project. I though I had lost my passion for sim racing last year, but have discovered it's something I really enjoy.
I'm on the hunt for a race seat.
I should have my omega gt in a week...I'll give my thoughts if you would like?
I have specific seat height and driver position I'm looking for. I have a woodworking and construction background along with all the tools.
@Oshawa-Joe Since you have the skills and tools check out my rig. Link in my sig below.
