Here's my original post when I first got the ButtKicker. Looking back at that rig.... :boggled: :dopey: The Buttkicker has since made its way onto the new rig and is still working spectacularly! Couldn't imagine racing any other way!
@nmcp1
Which model do you recommend? I have a Playseat so seems Buttkicker Gamer 2. Does this thing make low frequency bass noise, vibration or both? I think I wouldn’t like the noise as it would disturb others watching TV or whatever.

I didn’t save any replays, so I’m not that worried about prize eligibility (not that I’m going to pick anything). I’m usually not the type of person who saves replays, unless I do really, REALLY awesome. If that sounded un-SNAIL like, apologies.

There are individuals that volunteer to save and share the replays for steward review. They have a deadline to get it finished so that we can move on with the week's activities like clearing prize winners of any IRs they may have against them so that they can begin the process of choosing combos for the coming week.

@JLBowler I dont have all replays saved (I think I missed C1R1 while doing scores) but I will upload what I have within the next few minutes. Will edit this post when I do

Edit: 5/6 replays uploaded (missing D1R1R1)

Thanks.

For all replay uploaders and all racers moving forward. There will be no more free passes. I do not have the time every Monday to chase down missing replays. We are all adults and should be able to handle basic responsibilities. If there are no replays to be found on Monday then there will be no prizes for that division for that week.
Sorry I forgot to share them yesterday. I just shared round 1 race 1.

If any of you guys have ever wondered what our "Live Track 3" is all about in PCars2, race #2 shows it pretty good. We can set multiple weather scenarios and when it starts to rain, puddles and run off develop just like in the real world. Road America gets tough as it develops some pretty nasty puddles that can pull your car right off the track. It was especially hard on the A guys last night in the Ford MkIV, us B guys in the Mustang RTR had it a bit easier but still tricky. We set race 2 at 18:00 hrs with the max four weather slots and chose Fog/Fog with Rain/Thunderstorm/Clear. Thunderstorm is cool as you get thunder and lightning mixed in with the heavy rain.
For example, if you go to 1:20:xxx mark in GR8's video you can see him in the Fog with Rain. I particularly like his feed as it's in cockpit view and this old Mustang sounds so great. After a lap or so the fog will lift and the main thunderstorm begins, it is a bit hard to see here but you will see some flashes which is the lightning. (It is pretty amazing when running when it's darker as the lightning lights up the surroundings quite spectacularly.) The storm eventually passes leaving us a sunny but wet track that slowly starts to dry, but still leaves the deeper puddles to contend with until the end. It is a hoot to drive in these conditions!

At least you still have a disc to be herniated. My dad has been dealing with those problems his whole life and just recently discovered one of the areas that has problems is worse because the entire disc is deteriorated away. Where it should be was just a blank space on the MRI. Hope you get better soon

Had a great time at streets of Willow last night. Hope others had at least half as much fun as I did. If you thought the combo was challenging I bet you rue the day I win the prize A! Yes I have 1 picked.
I thought I would hate it, but actually really had a blast, and that's with practically no practice. Only slid off once, trying to make a pass and it was either me or him and since I initiated the pass, I took the hit, Lol I did enjoy it though.

The new car on Tsukuba is.........

GRAN TURISMO ECKERT'S ROD AND CUSTOM MACH FORTY on RH Tires @ Tsukuba Circuit - 18:00 Clear - (12 Laps)

I've got some Snail logo static clings up for auction in the Snail Marketplace! Go check them out and while you're there don't forget to enter the marketplace logo contest!

I'm officially announcing a logo design contest for the SNAIL Marketplace! The winner will get 50 $hells, second place will get 25 $hells, and third place will get $10 $hells. I'll send our original logo to anybody who'd like to use it as a basis for creating the new logo, or feel free to design something from scratch. Some ideals I had were to use our logo (shown below), but then add a vertical line through the "S" in SNAIL to make it look like a dollar sign. Then replace "SNAILRACING.ORG" with "MARKETPLACE". Again, these are just some ideas I had, but I welcome any different and creative ideas as well! :)
