Probably because they collect expensive cars. Car shows and racing on the track are also kinda cool.

If you have money and love cars, the question is why wouldn't you want it.

Personally I would spend all my money (if I had it, Lol) on a street version Shelby or something, and build it to kick this things a$$, but that's just me. I love car shows and racing on track, but much cooler to be able to drive your beast to the track or show, and win.

There are those that have both. If you can only have one then you way is always the best for sure.
 
All this talk about cars....Finally up here it's nice enough to enjoy the summer rides again and I was lucky enough to get the wife's help shining the Vette up :D

Yup they are quite the car, and not many realize it's a 50/50 weight distribution in these cars, due the trans being in the rear of the car, connected to the motor out front with a torque tube. This car literally rides like it's on rails, and gets up to 175mph very quickly. Some say they've taken these cars 190+mph, but 175 was quick enough for me to decide to slow down, Lol/

The drift and drag world caught on lately. Folks ars dropping the 240sx for a c5 or c6 and since the LS engine is god in drag racing c5 and c6's are becoming a popular option in that areana also.


63 split window and c6 z06 with my favorite ls of all time the LS7 are my favorite vettes. I would include the 94 zr1 but thats not a chevy engine.

Those terminators are going to be worth a pretty penny. Best looking stangs before they became retro inspired.

Damn, I would not be posting video's either, and now-a-days just about every second vehicle you pass has a dash cam so you need to be mindful of that when you're in traffic.
Now you mention terminator........Awesome cars! I've actually owned one, a 2004 Screaming Yellow Cobra.
 
My wife has always wanted this car, Mollypop Pink Saleen, and I found her one in California but for some stupid reason that particular car cannot be imported into Canada. Prior to 2009 this wasn't an issue, but after that they were deemed inadmissible in Canada.

You couldn't ship a california car? Thats weird. We are the smog nazi's. If flowers and good feelings dont come out the tail pipe it cant be on the road. Lol i love my state but im still salty about giving up my fc rx7 due to smog issues.

Well it's a Canada issue, and something to do with the cars being titled as Saleen and not Ford, regardless it's a dumb law! Now I'll just have to build one out of a GT, and make it faster and prettier, Lol

Its a rebadged mustang. I know theres nothing you can do about it but thats crazy. Its not like it doesnt have the same safety standards.

Article says the police got him to admit to the crime. Major lesson here. NEVER ADMIT TO ANYTHING! Especially if you're not caught in the act. "Oh, you see officer, I just edited that video to make it look like I was speeding," is what he should have said. What an idiot. Better yet, he should have said one word: "LAWYER." :lol:

On another note, you guys inspired me to purchase the Mach 40 and give it a try. Probably the most fun I've had in GT Sport so far. I've known about that car since it was shown at SEMA, but never realized it won the GranTurismo award. I didn't even know it was added to the game until it was a prize selection. First car I've purchased that wasn't required for the career mode as well. The car is sweet. Kind of a handful, but a lot of fun.

This is why im glad my fit is slow haha. I have some driving clips up but all at the speed limit as she doesnt get much faster haha
