As long as they have good situational awareness when the faster cars are coming up on them.
Agreed if you’re being lapped, but otherwise doesn’t the golden rule apply?

I just mean that if you're racing and you see a faster driver coming up on you in to a braking zone, maybe don't drive the corner like they're not there and potentially turn in on them when you could easily have gone two wide and had a fun moment.

They are and should, but should also be aware of their pace and the pace of those around them. You may brake as late as you dare but know the guy behind will brake later etc
@DesertPenguin the guy behind needs to adjust their braking otherwise risk penalty. Remember you are racing, not hot lapping, You cannot expect to go through any corner at the same pace you do hot lapping, when you have a car to pass in front of you. @BradESPN is correct. Follow the golden rule and you should be fine. Tailgating and forcing the guy infront to make an error is acceptable but comes with its own risks.
That being said. my review of the 4 incidents on file is complete

I'm waiting for the better PUBG to arrive on PS4. It will eventuallyAnyone else playing H1Z1? I downloaded it last night and looks fun
The Golden Rule of Motorsports always applies to the passing driver regardless of whom he is passing. Just because you finished the first race towards the front doesn't mean the other guy has to pull over and let you pass. Here is a neat video about passing and the need to make sure you are seen by the other driver.I just mean that if you're racing and you see a faster driver coming up on you in to a braking zone, maybe don't drive the corner like they're not there and potentially turn in on them when you could easily have gone two wide and had a fun moment.
@Nicktune if I remember right that was your video.A snail posted a 360 reverse entry in a ft86 at tsukuba a while ago. Whoever that was i just want to know if you were stock or not.
No just a general discussionHave there been reckless driving? Every division has been clean and i think ive raced with everyone so far. Even the new people seem to understand pretty well what we expect from them.
Ok thought i was missing something. No just a general discussion
I prefer larger grids.I have noticed a debate among some that is kind of smoldering at this point. The question that has been raised is, would it be better to have a tighter skill gap within more divisions or are larger fields more important. At the current time, we are right on the cusp of having three or four divisions. We have stayed at three divisions as it allows for larger fields on Sunday nights.
I want to open up a discussion about which of the two options would be more appealing to the membership. Please post here which you would prefer:
Tighter skill gaps with smaller grids or,
Larger grids with the existing skill gap.
Post your thoughts but please refrain from debating or attacking anyone else's opinion. Just make your thoughts known and they will be taken into consideration. If you're not comfortable posting them for everyone to see, you can start a conversation with me giving your opinions. Please note that I will not be responding to any of these conversations and this is not to be taken as a chance to petition for anyone to be moved between divisions.

Most of the responses so far have been in favor of the larger grids. I agree with the benefits of the larger grids. However, there are also some drawbacks that are not good for SNAIL and need to be considered. 1) Larger grids make it impossible for some to participate who have marginal internet connections - perhaps at no fault of the racer OR their tier of service. 2) Larger grids with so few divisions means there is a large spread in ability. This is not necessarily noticed for the guys at the top of their divisions but could be demoralizing for the guys on the bottom of their divisions. We’ve all been at the back of the pack at some point out of poor ability at some combo but happy if there are a couple racers with us to race. That’s enough for most to stay involved but I think everyone would agree that it sure is nice to podium once in a while. Boil it all down and the condensate says that smaller grids are a feasible benefit to SNAIL.I have noticed a debate among some that is kind of smoldering at this point. Gr.3 ferrari.Enduro tonight right? If so just want to know what car so i can paint it.
Ah daddy duties. I understand. Part of the deal.Gr.3 ferrari.
I do think i am hosting this one. @BradESPN has his daughters game.
@JLBowler the only draw back i saw with the smaller groups (6) in D5 when i joined was not getting votes lol. I think the closer groups could benefit newcomers and members alike. Having less congestion and skill gap people can focus on their lines and gaining ever tenth. Instead of dodging an array of different lines and paced cars.
