We didn't need the combos announced this quickly but since they are do we want to have a practice session tomorrow night like usual? With a Gr. 1 car as much practice as possible is highly recommended if not required.

I know I'd be down for practice. I'm hoping to be on by 8:00 (EST), and if a room's up I'll join, otherwise I'll probably create one.

No posts for 24 hours?! Where did you all go?

So anyway, I was thinking today about the Mileage Exchange Gr. 3 and Gr. B Road Cars. As time goes on is the BoD considering them any more likely to be eligible for Sunday nights? Just curious.

@zer05ive @Rednose58 @JLBowler @CoachMK21 @nmcp1 @MajorBlixem

The short answer is no.

The reasoning behind the short answer is that those cars are not considered to be "readily available." Think of it from the perspective of a new member that might just be starting out in the game. If we allowed a car to be chosen that, at the current time, can't be obtained if you don't already own it, that might be a little off putting to someone.

Why do I feel like I have already answered this question? Oh yeah....

@JLBowler Would it ever be the case that only the car currently in Mileage Exchange is allowed?

No and here's why. Cars have to be "readily available" in order to be considered for Sunday night. Imagine a current mileage exchange car being allowed and then the mileage exchange updates, that car is gone, but it didn't get voted off. Now we have a car in the lineup that is not only not "readily available" but is not available at all.

I know I asked about it before, that's why I worded my post the way I did. I wondered if anything has changed since the game has been out a long time now but not long enough. Oh well. 👍

Fair enough but basic reasoning should determine that if the method of obtaining the cars in game hasn't changed and the policy that governs car selection hasn't changed in regard to those cars that the answer to the question hasn't changed.

If one desires to use these cars in an event, the Friday night events would be an ideal platform to do so. Pick a car, pick a track, develop a format, and reserve a date. I'm pretty sure there are others that would like to use those cars. Who knows, if it's done well, it could turn into a weekly event on another night.

Damit i dont see my 69 camaro in the line up. Im starting to notice more and more race cars and less street cars which is why its gts. I wonder if gts is just a concentrated race version of gt and another version of gran turismo will come out with all the stuff were use to.

@Rednose58
Thanks for the effort to solicit event ideas, homogenize and execute. Build it and they will come. Right? At least that’s how it should be. Now SNAILs, sign up if you have some inkling that you can make tonight’s festivities. Be a divergent. Embrace something out of the ordinary. Have fun for goodness’ sake.
