Whoops

I'm taking the night off but I'm free to stream the action. I was thinking of streaming D1/C1, D2/C2, D3/C3.
Video is great... lol. Can't imagine how the guy felt after that. Much better to wreck in game if it is going to happen.

Also, Pacifico and streaming sounds like a good night. Hope your trip was awesome, welcome back.

Thanks. Yep I had a great time. The only downside to travel is the traveling itself. Coming back home I went Riga, Latvia > Helsinki, Finland (1.5hrs + 1hr connection) > San Francisco (11hrs + 2hr connection) > Los Angeles (2hrs + 1.5 hr drive home) Long ass day.

And I think we flew over Rednose in Canadia coming back from EU.

Home sweet home, LA

Some guys will argue about anything.
Who's arguing? We are actually and surprisingly having a discussion on the discussion thread.

Just get in the lobby as soon as you can, go park it in turn one and wait for the start. If you're the last guy in the room, you're going to be at the back of the line to start qualifying and sit for at least a minute.
1 minute vs. 25 minutes is a huge difference. I have been victim to and seen other be victim of people not following the rules regarding qualifying.

If you get caught from behind with a five second head start in one lap, you're going too slow. Pick it up.
That doesn't necessarily work in say D3 where we have the best of the rest.

I will say it again. All of the drivers making sure they can see one another is so much more important than having warm tires for an out lap. It's an out lap. It doesn't count for anything. If you feel the need to leave the track and jump back in to get warm tires, first of all, you're not following policy and secondly, you're overthinking the whole process. Again, IT'S AN OUT LAP. The tires are back up to temp well within a lap on the track before anything counts for anything.
Warm tires are everything! Especially with the rules the way they are. If you go into the first turn with cold tires and slide off by the rules, even on the out lap, your hot lap is done. For people like penguin or mully going up the entire field in a short sprint race is hard enough but having to do it twice because of a off on your out lap is taxing to say the least.

SNAIL Stream Division 1/2/3

I was debating wether or not to join a new room after each race ( D1 R1R1, D2 R1R2, D3 R2R1 etc ) but I dont want to cause a distraction joining/leaving multiple times. So D1 Round 1, D2 Round 2, D3 Round 3

have fun watching the races tonight

Somebody deleted a row and the templates didn't line up. Looks like I could fix it without the wizard of oz (@msgt-sd )

Scores for June 3 have been pushed to Data. This was the last night of the May 2018 season. Please get the Data and the reviews done so we can prepare for the next Snail Invitational on June 15.

@Marcus Garvey The answer is no. TCS is at 3 default, but will not allow you to enter the race if the lobby settings are set for no TCS.

What I'm referring to is when you enter a TC and tuning prohibited room, set your TC to 0 in the settings, and enter the track. I found that TC is still active at this point, and in fact scrolling through the (whatever they call the on-the-fly adjustment menu) TC is listed and actively on, despite not being able to adjust it. For fun I tried this again and it does appear to remain an issue. It's going to rain here for a few days so I should get some time to run some video on it this week.

Notes: This was done in an online lobby where I entered the track in practice. I was unable to test if this issue resolves once you begin a race, as GTS apparently does not allow you run a race in an online lobby alone. :(

Off topic, but as always I like to make all of these little quirks(glitches, evidence of carelessness, whatever you want to call it haha) known. I missed the Holiday race this time around.....but the pit closed debacle was one of the 'quirks' that has been an unresolved issue for months now. I suspect it was an error that arose when they fixed the pit cash glitch. The fact that such a premier enduro track is essentially useless for enduros is disappointing, and unfortunately indicative of the overall functionality of the game.

Edit: A bit of background; how I initially stumbled across this issue was in practice once several months back when I was still trying to become enthused I came out of the pits and immediately noticed the car was a lot tighter from mid-turn to corner exit(aka power-on). Doing a nasty burnout the car would still spin tyres, but I noticed it 'fighting' the slip as I lifted the brake and the dash light was flashing. I then went through the adjustment menu and noticed TC was all blue but unable to be adjusted(as expected given TC was prohibited.) Simply exiting the course to the lobby and re-entering fixed this and the car had a noticeably more lively burnout and wheelspin came back to help rotate the car in the later phases of the turn. Will investigate further.

The drivers list has been updated with a very preliminary version of promotion and relegation completed. Any changes before race night would only be due to new drivers joining which could provide the need to balance divisions.

Division managers can go ahead and start the threads for June unless you're @Raw10_2u and he's a little ahead of the game in this respect.

I streamed last night's session to my YouTube account. I'm just starting out with it so I didn't share it, wanted to make sure everything is working.
Everything was fine last night, I asked a friend to keep an eye on it and they were able to watch it till the end. Today I wanted to watch some of it and to my surprise I couldn't and this is the reason:

"This video contains content from Formula One Management, who has blocked it on copyright grounds."

Not sure why, all I can think of is that we were racing at Interlagos and Monza? Anyone else ever seen this or know what's going on? My profile pic is an F1 car (different one than this one here on GTPlanet) but I don't think that's it.
