I would but I have to take care of reviewing two of my own races and beat Spider-Man all in a days work. Lemme know if you get a near full room and I'll hop on over to race someone.Anyone wanting to practice the combos today during the day? I'm going to be online from 11-1.
Looks like the new track coming out (in the World Finals this weekend) will be a new route on the Tokyo Expressway (Tokyo Expressway South Inner Loop). Also, we'll get to see the Ferrari F50.
Holy ****ing hype. Also, we'll get to see the Ferrari F50.
Hoping to get on in a bitAnyone wanting to practice the combos today during the day? I'm going to be online from 11-1.
oooooooo Ferrari F50! I've been waiting for that car since NFS back in early 2000's!Looks like the new track coming out (in the World Finals this weekend) will be a new route on the Tokyo Expressway (Tokyo Expressway South Inner Loop). Also, we'll get to see the Ferrari F50.
Again??
Again??
It's such an awesome car it shouldnt of ever went away if the stupid Toyota was around foreverI know there's not a ton of cars in the game and I know the prize winner can, and should, choose whatever they want but bringing a car back less than a month after it was last used? C'mon man. Be better than that.
Love the car but we just used it.lol you say that like it's bad
Maybe they just really like the car? Nothing wrong with that. I know I would have picked the Aston Martin Vantage Gr. 3 again if I got the chance as it was a great car to drive around Yamagiwa.I know there's not a ton of cars in the game and I know the prize winner can, and should, choose whatever they want but bringing a car back less than a month after it was last used? This is not a dig at @MikeGrove or his selection hell I'm just hoping one day to be in his shoes and get to make a selection (wont happen anytime soon for sure hahahaha) and not trying to start a **** storm like the ones that have happened in the past but iv been racing in alot of random lobbies lately to improve racing in traffic and helping me get comfortable in traffic not to mention trying to spread the word about snail and on seaside iv been in some really good races using gr4 cars and was quite surprised running the gr4 Ferrari, Lamborghini, and a few others. I'm not trying to take sides but in the future it may be something we as a group might want to consider looking at. I see a ton of random lobbies running those formats for racing and if snail wants to build back to a bigger driver list it might be a option to look at that's just my opinion and yes I know opinions are like assholes everyone's got one

To be clear, my critique isn't about the merits of the car. It's just about the lack of originality shown in the choice. I've always liked the NSX and will happily race it as I wasn't racing the last time it was used.
Most of my combo picks in the last 3 & 1/2 years have caused storms. From, @DesertPenguin complaining, to @lllTrick & of course most recently my untested, winning suggestion of that Drift car GT86, which had 1500hp but also a super short ratio gear box, which topped out at 145mph a quarter the way down the straight of that combo- making it invalid.
We're supposed to learn from mistakes, but as is clear, I find ways to make new mistakes with small adjustmest each time.

I promote snail to people everyday, like Im selling a car at work. I promote because I belive in the product (the quality racing) & what we do together here.
The great times I have had meeting people and learning here with all of you has ABSOLUTELY made me a more confident & more skilled driver than I was in 2015 by 2x no doubt.
Race craft, pace, judgement, reactions- across the board.
This is racing @TexasJDC, if you believe in your own ability, thats half the battle. You can win a prize Sunday if you want it badly enough.
To be clear myself, I honestly forgot we used it so recently. I should have known from that livery being on it already from last time
It stayed around for a week as well right?
Hopefully one day in a practice lobby or endurance event I get to race on track with you @JLBowler
So anyway,
-I sincerely apologize for that bone headed mistake. I had other cool options, one being a Gr.4 NSX- but I also forgot that would have used sport tires too.
Other un-tested options were W108 Merc F1, SRT tomahawk, The Samba and the new Gr.2's at Catalunya.
I tested this combo pick 1st and decided not to test anything else because I enjoyed it so much.
- NSX on N300 bop is completely over powered. I found out from a random lobby.
& That's partially how the combo was inspired. The other half of the inspiration was from my dominate win in an A+ FIA lobby with Gr.4 NSX at Seaside earlier this fall.
I beat multiple drivers who actually just went to regional finals in that race & beat them bad. I should have been there to beat them again, but maybe next time I will put even more time in.
After that win, Salty Z28 gaming went and made that 15 min rant video featuring mostly my Turismo-Groove account on screen for its duration; which got over 15,000 views.
All this made the Dagon trail seaside with an NSX a significant track/car combo for me & for my career putting hours in this game.
I personally credit all my wins since 2015 to the people and lessons I have learned through Snail
- thats how much being here & promoting the organization means to me.
