This was maybe 2 years ago when we were still on GT6, Trick was complaining about people using the shifter. I'll see if I can find it but you have a **** ton of posts lol.

You said something along the lines of it's hardware used for the game and banning it because of an advantage was akin to banning wheels for their advantage over controllers.

I remember that discussion vaguely and it would still be true today.

Its a long read

1 more hour left to vote if you haven't already:

Lets see where SNAIL wants to take it. If you raced on Sunday you are eligible to cast a vote for a track to take the PORSCHE 911 RSR 2017 (RH) to.

Whichever track has the most votes at the deadline will be my pick. Deadline to cast your vote: Thursday 6PM EST (3hrs before official prac)
To keep it simple we'll use default time. And please dont post a running tally of the votes.

Sunken Ditch!
You can thank me for this since I bought my CSL Elite wheel base less than one week ago! 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬
Edit: after some thought, I’m actually thrilled about this Direct Drive offering!

That wheel is worth two of my first vehicles....paid 600 for an 82 Chevy s 10

I have actually purchased a real, turn-key, race car for less than that wheel costs. It was only a four banger and I never did race the thing myself (was a purchase for my cousin) but it still cost less than a sim racing wheel. He got two seasons out of it and then sold it for what we had paid for it. Try doing that with that wheel two years after you buy it.

Being that it's Thursday, care to do a Throwback Thursday type post with pictures of the race car and a bit of story as to where he raced? It's always nice to hear stories of people getting to race on the cheap.

Thanks for mentioning me, but I had no right to help pick a track.

How many laps should be set for the RSR Saint Croix A combo?

The below is taken directly from Section 4.3 of the OLR Policies and Guidelines thread:

Race laps will be determined by taking the average mid-division lap time and running as many laps as possible without going over 12 minutes. Example: If the average mid-division lap time is 1:45 the number of laps will be 6. The formula is more or less as follows: 720 seconds divided by lap time in seconds. We will take the whole number and drop anything past the decimal point and that is the number of laps. Under no circumstances will the average lap time multiplied by the number of laps give us a number greater than 720 seconds which is 12 minutes.

I'll save you the time on the math. Using @TEX36 time of 3:13, it would be 3 laps.
