Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select should not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).

It has been brought to my attention that the second part of the instructions in the results post was not followed. Being that the results post only says that a car should not hit it's rev limiter, the choice will be allowed to stand as selected.

Please take the time to test your combos, even if you are just making a suggestion for a combo, in the future. Having a car bounce off the rev limiter all the way through a prime passing location takes away from the track, the car, and the overall racing experience. I stress again, please take the time to test a combo before you throw it out there.

Edit: It would appear that the individual that provided the information about the NSX hitting the rev limiter was mistaken. The car does not bounce off the rev limiter by itself at Fuji. It may or may not bounce off the rev limiter in the draft. I took it to Monza and was able to run up to 186 MPH without having it bounce.

While the above information might not apply in this case, it's good information for everyone to have and follow going forward.

So is the combo still going to be used this weekend?

@JLBowler
I am reposting this as I have a typo for the lap time. It’s 2:38.5 NOT 2:48.5

Well; ordered my wheel today..... expected shipping is Thursday, 12/27. decided to go with the thrustmaster T150 Pro (found it on sale at GameStop for $199), so got that as well as a copy of Project Cars 2 coming my way. ow just have to figure a way of mounting it once it gets here.... do have a folding card tale that I may use temporarily until I find some good DIY plans that I like olie.

For sale: Purchased new last December. Paid $159.00 off Amazon. Used less than one year. The bar that holds the pedals in place has been modified to accommodate the T3PA pedal system. Had my T150 mounted to it with absolutely no issues.
If interested send me a conversation. That goes to anyone interested BTW.
