Well, I'm sure @SAMHAIN85 could tell you exactly which drivers were using a shifter when he wasn't. Look, the advantage of the shifter is in the acceleration due to the fact that there's less of a delay when shifting gears. That's super obvious during a start but also when accelerating out of a turn.
However, I'm not sure what to do when (hypothetically) someone puts in an IR against someone for using a shifter and the other person says: I'm not using one!

Your last sentence there explains why, without some type of indisputable evidence on the replay, any rule regarding use of a shifter, as intended or otherwise, can't be policed effectively.

In a perfect scenario, we would be able to lock all settings and the game would model the use of a clutch properly and the only advantage gained by using a shifter would be if the individual could execute the physical motions required to shift faster than the auto clutch in the game.

This is what made me think of the bb issue. We just have to be honest and race honestly:)

Vikings a few years ago?

That was Gary Anderson and he hadn't missed a FG the entire season leading up to that kick.

That was terrible too...I feel like he aims for the posts he hit them three or four times this year

Tonight's kick was #6 on the season to hit an upright. 7 hits if you count the second bounce off the crossbar tonight.

The moral of the story for a football team is don't leave your fate in the foot of a kicker.

After months of delays, technical issues, and procrastination, I'd like to announce that the SNAIL Marketplace has finally been revamped and is now ready for its 2019 relaunch! At the height of it's popularity, the Marketplace was an active hub where lots of cool prizes and swag were exchanged between our community of Snails. Let's make 2019 the year that we bring the Marketplace back to life!!

Be sure to collect $hells for everything that you do to help SNAIL because there are sure to be some cool items up for auction soon! Simply go directly to the Marketplace (linked above) or click on the 'earn $hells' link in my sig. When you do, you'll notice a vastly improved and trimmed down list of league duties to choose from. You'll also notice that the amount of $hells that each duty earns is listed at the end of each option. You no longer have to repeatedly check your $hell balance to verify how many $hells you earned from week to week!

I'd like to give a big shout out to @SAMHAIN85 for being the driving force behind the relaunch of the Marketplace as well as most of the improvements mentioned above. Had it not been for his persistence and determination, this whole process may have never been completed. If anyone would like to earn $hells for duties that you don't see listed, please just tag me on the thread and state your request/question. I hope to see everyone bidding $hells in the Marketplace soon!
