I have a few questions.

1. Why don’t we do more with social media on recruiting. Maybe get a snail page going. (If there is one, I haven’t found it yet)

2. I heard there were stickers in the past what can we do about getting those?

3. T-shirt idea. Found out I have a friend who could possibly get us a deal on a good sized batch.

No need to tag anyone as long as you follow the directions and fill out the quick and easy form.

This is NOT for new drivers- only for those SNAIL who’ve been around before the last GTSport UPDATE 1.32 (January 17th) that changed the Physics Simulation Model for all cars.

Once a week I go on the race photos tab and just leave a 160 character message of something like “looking for a clean racing league? Go to snailracing.org etc etc.” I haven’t written down names that I’ve done it too but I leave the message on a latest photo and they usually like the comment so I feel like they at least look

I have read the first post and would like to join.

@Hauser Aspen

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!
Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add @CoachMK21, @JLBowler, @nmcp1,@zer05ive ,@Rednose58,@MajorBlixem & @SAMHAIN85 as participants.

The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread. If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL :cheers:

That's how I found SNAIL. @THRASH left a comment on one of my race photos.

@Nick Cannella
You're recent actions with DWC peaked my curiosity. I've been racking my brain trying to figure out how we can use this game to increase sim racing awareness. What do we have to offer? Why would any company or person want to become involved with what basically amounts to a bunch of guys and gals playing a video game? I kinda got serious about this and have learned a few things. Consumer spending and brand loyalty. Keep an eye on the thread over the next couple of weeks.

Maybe more SNAIL t-shirts, hats, or other general apparel is on the horizon? :) More real world advertising definitely has some reach. The in-game and online advertising is great but unfortunately limited in it's reach/sphere of influence. Seeing someone in the real world with a sim racing shirt will definitely make my head turn 👍

That stuff is cool and does play a role in building/supporting a brand, but think bigger. Don't think about us, ourselves and what we do here, think about what we already do and how it can help the brands the we're loyal to everyday.

Not that big. Does everyone in here like Monster Energy though?
Energy drinks taste like piss to me but I see where you're going with this. What might help is if we had a substantial YouTube/Twitch presence as a SNAIL Channel. A lot of the daily YouTuber streamers are sponsored by various sim racing companies. I could see an official SNAIL Channel sponsored by ButtKicker in the future and not just "presented by" in the title thread 👍

Again, think about the things you use everyday. Sim Racing is a small community in the grand scheme of consumer marketing. But the products that those participants purchase and use everyday is greater than the amount of money they will ever spend on sim racing and sim racing products in a lifetime. Are you in SNAIL again? Maybe you should take your ideas and direct them towards your own race series.

Unfortunately I'm not in SNAIL but yes I do have my own series and thanks for noticing. I don't want this post to be considering advertising so I'm gonna leave it at that.

I better see what you're getting at now and really look forward to seeing where it goes. I've thought about doing something with Trader Joe's in the same way nog has with Death Wish Coffee. Have you guys seen the Arby's social media pages and how current they are with anime and things? I bet they'd be a good company to talk to their media/advertising department.
