I think most of my fondest online racing experiences occurred on GT5. That's largely because I've been retired since then and only show up to clown around nowadays. GT6's early issues sent a lot of my friends away to other activites, and most never returned. It was a weird time for GT.

I have a question regarding rules interpretation:

The rules say that four of the six races have to be run competitively for the week to be counted as "clean." If one is trying to work through probation, is it required to enter all six races for the week to be counted?

That rule is really in place in case someone gets dc'd on race night. As long as four races are completed, it counts as a full night. The rule was not put in place to allow drivers to race as little as possible in order to work their way off of probation.

Yo, that’s crazy. Was it in A-Spec...?
Yes, A Spec. Did it over two long weekends. Scheduled 2-3 hour sessions with 2-3 hour breaks in between during the day and 6-7 hours of sleep at night. The one race was during the Olympics and I had to schedule Usain Bolts's races also. There were also things like Brunch, Shower, Wife Time, Sleep, Dinner, etc. Had to put "Wife Time" in otherwise I was going to be in trouble for a long time after.

Wow. That’s really impressive. In Gran Turismo 4, I let the computer do the 24hr of Nurburgring for me. The only impressive thing about this is that I managed to finish it without being forced to turn off the PS2 by my parents lol

Sorry I haven’t been around lately guys but I have a lot going on right now so it’s not that I’m stepping away, it’s just very doubtful that I’ll be on much at all for the foreseeable future.
I hope to join you guys on the track again sometime soon hopefully.
Take care all.

I have read the first post and would like to join I heard about this by seeing the servers and I like competitive racing. I also like time trials a lot and practice often with the wheel I like to think I’m a decent racer :)

@Speedracer28

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!
Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add CoachMK21, JLBowler, nmcp1, zer05ive, Rednose58, MajorBlixem & SAMHAIN85 as participants.

The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL

If you activate it as the primary(its just 1 click to do it and 1 to put it back to your original when you sub on the original) it then shares with all accounts on the ps4 so you can still use your account that you race with in snail.
