366hp // 2734lbs // SS Tires // N400

"An RX-7 tuned by the legendary tuning shop RE Amemiya."

The Amemiya µ Boost up 7 is a street machine created by the RE Amemiya corporation, the legendary tuner of rotary powered cars renowned for its activity in the Super GT and D1GP. The front, rear, side aerodynamic parts and the fixed position sleek light kit are all RE Amemiya original designs. RE Amemiya has a variety of aerodynamic parts available including even a GT replica kit, but this particular model has a presence that stands out from the others.

In terms of driving performance, the specs live up to the unique exterior. Though the turbo is kept stock and the power is only increased through additional boost, the car still produces over 365 BHP with a maximum boost of 1 kg, along with a maximum torque of 274.8 lb-ft. It is set up to produce abundant torque from the mid speed range.

It is also equipped with a horizontally mounted intercooler kit, an aftermarket air cleaner, dolphin tail exhaust muffler, and everything from the cooling system, accessories and exhaust system have been thoroughly revised.

In addition to these engine characteristics, the Quantum-based Amemiya spec adjustable suspension has been perfected to a level which draws out the true character of the FD3S as the ultimate cornering machine. In the Japanese DVD magazine "Hot Version", it was shown to be utterly undefeatable on winding roads, and was dubbed the "The demon-lord of mountain paths".

I drove this last night, it is an ABSOLUTE blast. Sliding around (controller slide) it’s going to be a lot of fun in my opinion.

Hot damn that's a fun combo!

I will be active this Season to close out 2019. I'm available to host official practice tonight, and I'll also have the 2019 SNAIL Total Points sheet updated later tonight.
Thank you sir.

With these hot combos this week we will need a standby for a second or third practice lobby...

@man69800 , @NASCARNATE91 , @Nick Cannella , @Phlano099 , @Timlour can you let us know, please?

Also, lets continue to practice the new qually procedure where possible. I know it is a bit difficult to explain when we have non-members in the lobby. So, give it a try, but be patient with non-memebers

General request: Can someone volunteer to upload at least one race of each combo on Thursday nights. I would like to give @GTP_Guido a head start to create these awesome banners. All you need to do is upload the replay and then go to your library via your computer and paste the link and tag Guido. Very simple.
Example: Replay of Round 3

Good looking batch of combos this week:cheers:. I'm hoping to make it this week, but can't make practice due to work schedule. Any chance we could get some streams posted here of tonight's practice to get target times to achieve for Sundays races. Thanks in advance to those who do.

Also, for anyone looking to fill up some time on Friday nights, I am hosting 2 series that are low commitment, 1 race night per month each:

Can't make it to practice, got a club meeting as usual

Just a couple of notes about the new qualifying procedure based on feedback from last Sunday.

  • The scorekeeper is the only driver that starts their qualifying run when the host says start. All other drivers, except the host, start their run at the same time which is 5 seconds after the scorekeeper leaves. You can see when this happens by watching the map. Once all other drivers have started their run, the host will start their session.
  • All drivers are expected to create a 5 second gap during the outlap to the driver in front of them and keep this gap until the start of the qualifying lap.
  • Drivers should not be passing anyone on the out lap unless they have run off the track.

We will be working to fine tune the process on tracks that require multiple groups to qualify.

The SNAIL Sunday Score Sheets for Dec 8 has been prepared and is ready to go for tonight.

Remember the modified qually procedure. Tip: When the scorekeeper goes, he immediately goes as fast as possible on his out lap - just GUN it buddy!! As everyone else enters the track, try this:
  • If you find yourself second behind the scorekeeper, slow down a bit and make sure you have a decent gap between you and him before you get into Turn 1.
  • The rest of the field - slow down, don't pass anybody, and even come to a stop before Turn 1 to ensure you have a decent gap to the driver ahead of you before you pursue your out lap. Almost like the old days, but slightly different.
  • While in the pits, you can keep an eye on the track map and see how people are entering the course. You might even delay your entrance a bit before you go on track.
  • The host will be the last one to enter the track.
What is a decent gap?: a) We aim for 5 seconds. So, if you are slowing down or stopping before turn one, count to 5 before you speed up (or use the race clock). b) Monitor the track map while on your out lap and make sure the gap is such that you can fit at least two arrows between you and the driver ahead of you before you start your hot lap.

In this way you will have a decent temperature in your tires and you will run a decent speed on your out lap.
