On the back of the T300 motor resides a small circuit board that contains a Hall effect sensor. This magnetic “switch” is soldered to the board, is kinda flat like an integrated circuit, and would be pretty technical to replace. (I don’t even know if they’re available). I doubt TM would supply the little circuit board, but might be worth trying. Best case scenario: Dirt. If there’s a build up of dust or a little dab of grease interrupting the magnetic field, a simple delicate cleaning could have you right back in business.Panic question: my Thrustmaster t300rs wheel has developed calibration issues lately. On start up of PS4, when the wheel does it's calibration thing it now takes many attempts to calibrate. Used to be full left, full right, center, done. Now it's; full left, little right, full left, little right.... Many times. So far it does calibrate, but I'm afraid that may not last. Any input out there? I've tried a couple of things suggested by Thrustmaster; permanent fan operation on, disabled "keep active in sleep mode". Thanks.
Here’s a picture of what you’ll find inside, as this person needed to produce a 3D printed mount for the sensor/board.

Edit: This is all assuming you are out of the warranty phase. If not, do as @JamCar0ne suggested. DO NOT open the housing as it will nullify your warranty. And stay on a Thrustmaster, they’ll eventually replace your wheel base.
Am I seeing that correctly, it still folds with the wheel attached? I've never noticed that
