No question the broken lobby system is issue #1. I didn't bother even mentioning since it's so clearly a mistake that I'm assuming that will get fixed asap, and I'm hopeful they correct the lobby search filters and no tuning parameters as well. The biggest challenge to SNAIL is the lobby settings or lack there of at the present time.
I did say "almost" 2 mil per hour. A little optimistic I'm sure but my point is that credits are not that hard to come by as some would have others think. There is also the option to set up a custom race at Northern Isle and use the rubber bands. If memory serves, a 200 lap race with two cars pays out 70k (not exactly sure on this number). That's not bad to earn while you're doing something else for a couple hours.
*This is assuming the rubber band trick will work with GT7. It's not the same type of payout as previous games but it's better than earning zero credits while you're having dinner with the family.
I could see allowing all the prize cars up to menu book 9, that's where multiplayer opens up, as that would be the minimum progress needed for a person new to the game to complete in order to race online.
Based on discussions to date, the credit cap will be over 100k to start. This is assuming a work-around for the lobby settings issues can be found or will be provided through an update to the game.
My comments on the youtubers wasn't directed at your post. I should have perhaps formatted it better. I agree credits should not be hard to come by at all once up to speed.
