I cannot race full time right now because my schedule changed and Christmas is busy at UPS. I will get a better schedule in January.

Thanks. I will not consider you in the count for December but will keep you on the drivers list as part time through the January season.

I hope to race 3 weeks in December. I will probably not make xmas, but I might.

The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - Honda 2&4 powered by RC213V (RH) at Kyoto Driving Park Yamagiwa+Miyabi - S01 Afternoon (6 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @Worst_Driver wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.
PLEASE NOTE: Since @Worst_Driver has already won Prize A this season, he is ineligible to win it again until next season. This means that unless he loses Prize A due to incident reviews, any driver who competed in Division 1 on Sunday night will have the opportunity to suggest an entirely new car and track combo. I recommend that all D1 drivers from Sunday night start TESTING combos they would like to suggest. That way, you will be ready to post a good combo when @JLBowler gives the "all clear". It's important to mention that a good combo will not have a car that hits its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in a draft). Also, please be sure to only suggest one combo. Any driver who suggests more than one combo will automatically be ineligible to suggest any combos at all. Please don't let that happen to you. Only suggest ONE combo (but not until @Worst_Driver is confirmed as the Prize A winner).

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 1 - Mazda Roadster NR-A (ND) '22 (SH) at Autopolis - Full Course - S01 Afternoon (6 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @JamCar0ne gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @racingchamp30 so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and/or tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select must not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in a draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to choose the Integra Type R as your car selection, post "Honda Integra Type R (DC2) '98". If you want to select Monza for your track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". Being specific helps us to update the lineup accurately and also helps avoid any confusion among the drivers. Also, please be sure to list the HP and Weight (LBS) of any car you select. For track selections, include the time of day (e.g: 09:00 Clear) or else it will be left to default.

Remember that the UCD cars are now SNAIL approved, there are some good ones on sale right now, and there is a pretty cool new track. Just saying ;)

How often does the UCD cycle? It seems like many of the same cars are always around. Never seems like a complete recycle to me. Just a few added and a few sold out...

Also what about Legend cars currently on sale that are under the cap?

UCD has a cycle. This is why we announced this change before the start of last season, to give everyone a chance to stock up. LCD cars will be available for the January season. All cars will still need to be under the existing credit cap.

I think its weekly (ish), but as you are saying it looks like the cars that are sold out are replaced every couple days without a full refresh. Legend cars seems to refresh completely once a week.

Speaking of the UCD, personally I will tend towards picking cars that are either on sale in the UCD (or legend cars) right now or menu winnable cars that way most people will either have the car in their garage or will be able to buy it this week. That's just me, I'm so glad that the UCD cars were added to the SNAIL selection.

EDIT: @IceWarden Lets hope that the Miata gets a stay of execution !

BUT...the will the Snail car list be updated all the time to say "usable in snail...yes or no". That's the list I usually look at when I am trying to find cars to suggest.
 
Yes, you can filter out the cars that we cannot use in SNAIL in the google sheets file. It is already up to date with the new rules starting in december.

I have not as of yet but anyone could do it. Thursday night practice would be a good time if there are enough drivers present.

Other than that, four or five people could get together and heck it out. Make sure it can be set and can be changed.

I know the cars can be sorted but since the UCD changes often will the list be updated accordingly to exclude the cars no longer in the UCD and add the new cars in the UCD?

From what I can see, every car in the UCD below the cost cap is allowed whether or not it is on sale the week we choose combos

The car currently being on sale in the UCD has nothing to do with it's eligibility to be chosen. All cars that can be purchased in the UCD at any time are available for selection at any time.

This is why we gave a month's notice that this was going to happen.

I don’t plan to race in December. Some of the combos haven’t been interesting to me lately. I’m not really into racing slow cars on crappy tires. Not a criticism at all, just not my preference. I’ll keep an eye on the league and if more interesting combos (to me) come up, I’ll join.
 
I will not be near anything with the ability to check the thread at noon ET.

@Worst_Driver whatever suggestions are in by that time from drivers that raced in D1 are your choices. You are free to make a choice after that time.
 
I am refraining from making a suggestion because it looks like Road Atlanta is the track no matter what. So far I’m not a fan. It just doesn’t flow like some of the greats. But maybe it will grow on me after awhile…
