D2 Data for Apr 23 entered. Not bad, under 24 hours. What I want to know is how @Worst_Driver can enter D1 data in real time? By the time I've cooled off from racing on Sunday and go to check the score sheets for the night, he's got all the data entered as well. 😲😅
When I was doing the scoring, I would usually take pictures of the results screen at the end of each race. Any breaks between races, and a few minutes after the night is finished, I usually had all the data in.

Here are the unofficial results from our league night on April 23, 2023

  7. A_Mindful_Place --- did not submit a vote
Division 2
  1. JamCar0ne --------- voted to eliminate Round 2 - 94 (114.78 for Prize A) SEE NOTE BELOW
  2. Canoworms1 -------- voted to eliminate Round 1 - 94 (107.46 for Prize C)
  3. Gurney_67 --------- voted to eliminate Round 1
  4. Cdn_Sweet_Tee ----- voted to eliminate Round 1
  5. Unsteddie --------- voted to eliminate Round 2
  6. TokenTimmy -------- did not submit a vote
  7. cesarr64 ---------- voted to eliminate Round 1
  8. Skills_19657 ------ voted to eliminate Round 1
  9. MAN-B ------------- voted to eliminate Round 1
  10. Tex_Hill ---------- voted to eliminate Round 3
The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 1 - Gran Turismo Racing Kart 125 Shifter (RH) at Tsukuba Circuit - S01 Afternoon (16 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @JamCar0ne wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.
PLEASE NOTE: Since @JamCar0ne has already won Prize A this season, he is ineligible to win it again until next season. This means that unless he loses Prize A due to incident reviews, any driver who competed in Division 2 on Sunday night will have the opportunity to suggest an entirely new car and track combo. I recommend that all D2 drivers from Sunday night start TESTING combos they would like to suggest. That way, you will be ready to post a good combo when @JLBowler gives the "all clear". It's important to mention that a good combo will not have a car that hits its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in a draft). Also, please be sure to only suggest one combo. Any driver who suggests more than one combo will automatically be ineligible to suggest any combos at all. Please don't let that happen to you. Only suggest ONE combo (but not until @JamCar0ne is confirmed as the Prize A winner).

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 '13 (RM) at Watkins Glen International Long Course - S08 Early Morning (9 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @Worst_Driver gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @CANOWORMS1 so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and/or tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select must not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in a draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to choose the Integra Type R as your car selection, post "Honda Integra Type R (DC2) '98". If you want to select Monza for your track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". Being specific helps us to update the lineup accurately and also helps avoid any confusion among the drivers. Also, please be sure to list the HP and Weight (LBS) of any car you select. For track selections, include the time of day (e.g: 09:00 Clear) or else it will be left to default.

I've got pretty quick on data entry with my past jobs. As soon as I cross the finish line I'm on my computer filling the google sheets. Might as well do it while we race, because I'm already way past my bedtime when the racing ends at 11:45 PM up here.

@JamCar0ne is a repeat prize winner for prize A so if you raced in D2 this week, you get to make a suggestion for that prize. You must post in this thread and you may not edit your post to change your selection. The suggestion window will close at 11:59 PM ET on Tuesday night. At that time, @JamCar0ne will be clear to choose from the suggestions.

@CANOWORMS1 @Gurney67 @CdnSweetTee @unsteddie @TokenTimmy @cesarr64 @Skills @TexHill @MatteBlac are eligible to make suggestions.

@Worst_Driver and @CANOWORMS1 are clear to make their choices. Should @CANOWORMS1 end up with prize B, he will be a repeat prize winner as well.

Prize B: I will use the freeze but with a twist. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it this sunday because I will be out of town. So D1 drivers who raced last sunday you can vote for which part of the combo you want to freeze until tuesday night 11:59 ET.

@Xradkins @DublDee @racingchamp30 @Nicktune @Kgffy @A_Higher_Place
That decision has created a second repeat prize winner. @CANOWORMS1 will be our prize B winner. This means that once D1 votes and the freeze is decided, the drivers of D2 will be suggesting the other half of the combo for @CANOWORMS1 to choose from.

Is the Google Docs page with the approved cars and tracks boogered up for anyone else besides me? I can click on "Car List" and "Car Pictures" and I get a new page, but everything else is grayed out.

I think the various lists in the Google docs are for information only; "GT7 Cars" gives all the pertinent data of all cars (cost, tires, HP, etc), "Snail Car History info" gives (oddly enough) the history of each car in Snail, when it was used last, how often, etc. I haven't messed with the pictures, and for me clicking on it produces nothing.

I have tried selecting cars and tracks that haven't been used in a long time, or ever. But, sometimes I choose what I like, ie. Watkins Glen for the Ferrari.

Can you post the link you are using so I can check it out?

Aston Martin DBR9 GT1 '10 @ Mount Panorama - S08, late evening.

@JamCar0ne these are your choices for Prize A.
Aston Martin DBR9 GT1 '10 @ Mount Panorama - S08, late evening.

Peugeot RCZ GT Line '15 (SH tires) @ Goodwood S11, sunny with alpine mist

Dang! Spent my time testing combos and came up with this: Toyota S-FR Racing Concept '16 @ Mount Panorama - S03, Sunset. That's my final suggestion.

@JamCar0ne My suggestion is Nissan GTR GR3 at Red Bull Ring
@Worst_Driver you have three votes to freeze the track and none for the car. Please confirm that this is your choice and tag @CANOWORMS1 in your post so that he knows he is free to choose the other half.
