BTW: It would be kind of cool to make a "best of" album for the end of each season. Maybe a movie slide show type of thing if we could get pics from each division.

I could do that if you guys want. I could just give the main picture takers my email, you guys could send them to me and I could put a video together, put it on youtube. Call it "This Month in SNAIL" or something.

Sent you a pm with my email. I'll send all my previous when I receive your email.

Excellent idea, JESter! And thanks for stepping up, racefan! 👍 Can't wait to see how this turns out!

Also, I had another idea that I'd like feedback from all the photographers on. What if each photographer were to create an archive post that contained a hyperlink to each one of their photo posts? Something similar to what Exo's done with The Pit Board, but it would link to each photographer's photo posts instead. Then each photographer who created an archive post could add a link to it in their sig (again, like Exo's done).

Once a few of the photographers have created an archive post, we can then create a "master catalog" post that features all of our photographers. Anyone could then simply click on a photographer's name that's listed, and he'll be routed directly to that photographer's individual archive.

My only request would be that the photographers try to reserve a TOTPP (top-of-the-page-post) for their individual archive post (yes.. like Exo did.. :P). I think doing something like this would enable our league photos to have much more longevity and not just get swept away by waves of posts. And not only could we use said posts as archives, they would also serve as portfolios for each photographer. Someone a while back suggested a photo contest, right? Well I think this idea would make it much easier for our league members to vote on their favorite photos! :dopey:

Thoughts? Suggestions?

You're right, Laguna Seca is great. I'm more worried about other's choices. Simply hearing Deep Forest, Trial Mountain, or Cape Ring makes me want to puke. :yuck: I would gladly give up my pick if the prize A winner picked a real life track. If not, expect an FF. :mischievous:

You got your wish.

So, we are at a 588 PP Skyline, and a 584 Mercedes...

I sure as heck am not getting anything close to my wishes for general high/mid/low PP variety. Very High, Very High.... I think I will take 'fantasyland' tracks over this PP range every day. Guess that is why we vote each week. ;-)

The really high PP cars frequently exceed my ability (and not just me...) to drive and race cleanly and closely, IMHO.

Is this Monza with or without chickens?

I really like your idea Zero. I'll get myself a top of the page post ASAP.

If like Handlebar you are needing a break from all the high power cars come try the Performance Cap Racing this Thursday. We have a lot of fun and it is has a great low key and relaxed atmosphere. The goal of the night is to have fun. To make selecting the cars easy below is an all premium lineup you could use:

Honda INTEGRA TYPE R (DC5) RM '04 - 469
Audi R8 4.2 FSI R tronic '07 - 519
Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A (FD) '02 - 473
Lotus Esprit V8 '02 - 485

Ok so maybe they are not Low PP but lower than 588;)

For full details you can go here.

Thursday Race Night in D3 Lounge

This event will run with a combined PP cap of:
1950
All cars PP must be between 439 and 536

Qualifying and the first race will take place at

Daytona Road Course

Simply put.

Seriously though, I find racing on slicks too grippy unless we're racing overpowered cars like the Zonda R or the ZR1 RM. I prefer my cars with a tendency to oversteer instead of understeer. That's why I hate race cars with too much grip and FWD cars.

this is hilarious

i'd prefer no chicane, but it's not up to me

What's the new combos guys anything fun!!

May I suggest the: Land Rover Range Stormer Concept
Or
Suzuki GSX-R / 4 Concept '01

No Brake In required! Both would run fun at Laguna! 👍

Iroquois,
Your pick is the SLR 19 Inch correct

of course if it were up to me, it would be a race car. But I will go with this choice for the Prize A Combo. Have fun gentlemen

Thank you so much Iroquois! I was trying to think of cars that we haven't used before, and the SLR along with the SLS have been two of my favorite cars in the game.

Also there were some other really good suggestions as well. I was originally thinking of one the Louti, but I couldn't figure out what track would be best.

Prize B Selection:

We're going to say at Laguna Seca and I'm going to change the car to the Pontiac Solstice Coupe Concept '02 from the OCD.

I really wanted to suggest this car... Even though I will likely not do well... Great choice!

hi Wolf. it's not my pick, it's cmbeal's. but i assume he means the SLR from the Mercedes Premium Dealership

Sooooo, Mercedes SLR and the Solstice? Hmmmmm, I like it.
Kcheeb, i was so damn pissed off last sunday that i considered just close the store for some time but i guess it really was a bad day and when Wolfsatz (i believe it was him) pushed me off track at Spa was the final drop that burned my fuse.
I made really noob mistakes as that one you were able to watch in loco when the two of us were having a tremendous battle for first and in last lap i get a penalty on the screw followed by a spin up!!!! Lol, i don't even want to recall it but.... all good now.

Was a fun battle, just saw it on the replay entering the scores.

Looking forward to the next one :)
