Since nmcp1 is the back up scorekeeper, I've asked him to take over the D2 duties for tonight.

If someone in D2 can post that they have a good internet connection to host the room, it would be appreciated.

Definitely need someone other than me to host. I had quite a bit of trouble getting into the practice room on Wed. Also for the rest of D2 if anyone is willing to help out during the night with the room settings I will take no offense!

Not sure if you saw Skills response to your request to join.

Before you can race Sunday's, we need you to run the Time Trial so we can get you in the correct division.

As to not having the Solstice, there's plenty of people here that would be willing to help you out with that.

Just picked up the Grid 2 and the 4 bonus packs were included(McLaren, Indycar, GTR, and Headstart pack). I hear there is a small group here already playing it.

Pretty sure Goat's playing it, not sure who else is. I'm getting tempted ...

I've been playing it and its different, for sure, from GT5. I like it! It's definitely arcade but it's fun. The one thing I don't like is that it has no rearview mirror, only a look back button.
You need to play the game to earn the cars and when you collect a few more Tier 1 cars then go on line to race others. You can upgrade your car on line by winning cash but in the regular game, the car is not upgradeable. Already have all 12 of the Tier 1 cars and working on the Tier 2 cars.

The tracks are pretty nice and the graphics are pretty clean. They even have Indy Road Course in reverse and a few more Indy lay outs.

It takes getting use to but we're Snails. I set the Force Feed Back for the wheel at 5 and left everything else alone but that suits me. Any higher and your forearms will look like Popeye.

So far, I rate it a 8.

P.S. There is a feature on line for the host to kick unclean racers.

If you can help nmcp out with room settings, it would be appreciated, makes the scorekeeping so much easier. All you need to do is make sure the track, laps, tires and grid order is correct.

Once again we had another great night in D5. As usual we had a ton of very clean and close racing! I hope everyone else had just as much fun as I did tonight! Hope everyone has a great week and I'll see you all next Sunday(or Saturday if you join us in S.P.E.C.).

From my perspective, the night went very well on several fronts. The D4 gang really helped me keep things flowing and a special thanks to albtifosi for backing me up with room settings and replay uploads. Everyone else pitched in to start races, reverse grids etc. True SNAIL cooperation. Congrats to albtifosi on the overall win. He should have so many more overalls than the statistics show. We have all watched some of the most talented drivers in real life suffer from plain bad luck. Al isn't a stranger to this. He has been whipping D4 on a weekly basis but the points don't reflect his prowess. Weird stuff keep happening to him and his biggest nemesis has been connection conflicts. albtifosi is a seriously fast driver. The data doesn't reflect how good he really is.
