Classy move guys. It means so much to Aero. He's gonna be on the mend for a while.
Thanks so much for the kind words lads, it meant a lot, I posted the following in our thread today.

Wow guys, you’ve had me in tears more than once, I just don’t know how I can express the outpouring of good thoughts and wellwishes from all of you. All of you racing all last Monday in yellow cars was very touching. Also reading comments in the General SNAIL racing thread was very moving.
Well I’m alive and very lucky, albeit with some serious bone breakage. I was on an SV650 Suzuki on my to Montreal to see a friend for a couple of days, when a young lad decided he wasn’t going to stop. I saw him coming but when I realized he wasn’t going to stop it was too late, I was hard on the brakes and getting ready to bale but I nailed him on his front right corner with my left leg taking the brunt. I remember everything and never passed out, I went to hell for an hr in the back of an ambulance patience transfer vehicle, no suspension and no pain killer from them. Was very brutal. I am perfectly fine from the waist up. My right femur and right hip is fratured. It’s all pinned together. My left femur busted through my left pelvis and broke my left hip and it is all pinned together now. I have a torn ligament on the rear of left knee. All that above was thirteen hrs in the OR. Then on Wed it was another five hours to fix the left fibula and tibia which required a long rod down the middle with numerous pins. Then the fun part was the surgeons reconstructing my entire left foot. So that’s it on a nutshell, I am now in the Ortho rehab where they are saying I can’t put any wieight on my left foot for 4 to 6 weeks. But we’ll see, I have other plans!
Thanks again to all.
Mike visited today and it was great to have some laughs, which I’m planning on doing everyday no matter!

Great to see you are in high spirits my friend. We all miss you and want you to go through a very speedy recovery. God Bless You.

Well...just lost power...again in my nation's race. Not a good evening for snails in general. I started 8th and 2 lap spun out. Totally_lit qualified 3rd and I caught him on 6th lap so we we're running 14th and 15th I think. Pitted then power went out:(

Man I'm having bad luck between power and losing internet.

Weird. I just did Rinsky's 1.5 hour monthly endurance race and not a single issue. And with people across the pond too

Sorry to hear that man.

I qualified bad... just behind whitey though so I shouldn’t feel too bad. Manevolant father qualified pole and ended up 3rd I think and I ended up 4th. I’ll take that!! Didn’t practice enough for the race myself but feel as if I got lucky. Again I ran out of gas braking for the final turn. Haha

Yeah...I'm not going to complain too much about nations as I didn't practice for that one and as far as the manufacturers me and that track don't get along. We'll get'em next time:) good job on a 4p finish.

Good job @Sean Renon

I will not be racing in FIA anymore. They put me in a DR-D / SR-S lobby today. I lost 8000 DR points and lost my SR-S rating.

Good matchmaking PD. 🤬

Wtf? Maybe your SR had dropped enough before the race to put you in that lobby? Never heard of it glitching like that. I hope you dont pack it in for good, we've got all kinds of SNAILS waving the banner in FIA. Remember they drop your 4 lowest totals (if you race all 8 this season)

Bummer!

Brutal 10 second penalty.

Yep my qually was shot because of that wreck ahead of me. Only gave me one chance at a flying lap and it wasnt good. 3rd place ran out of gas before the last turn and I woulda coulda shoulda had that if I didnt botch the previous lap. I'll take 4th.

On to...Blue moon speedway (oval) :scared:

The only track to race Turn14 car (1037hp). Horse thief mile (either direction). Try arcade mode custom race, professional. 20 cars, starting 11th. Might be crazy enough to be my prize A pick, when hell freezes. Ha. Sadistic? Maybe. No other track is short enough to use this car. Or?

Hey guys,
Been getting some practice in and was planning on getting back tomorrow night. Unfortunately they have scheduled me for late shifts for the next 3 weeks. I'm hoping the trend changes back to earlier Sunday shifts. See you soon.

i had that happen a month ago. I havent been on gts since. To work to get to a rating then have it taken from you in 1 race is beyond frustration. I understand ya bro.

Damn, that is what every rider dreads, drivers that don't consider the possible outcomes of their blatant stupidity. Glad to see that shepherd fellow visiting you (I know you could be in better company!,lol) Miss you danged ole darkside Mango's! Those days of GT6 lobbies and falling out of our chairs laughing were some of the best! Wishing you a speedy and full recovery!

I see the gremlins were out last night after snail's. Seems like everyone had some weird stuff happening.

Manufacturers Cup race was a killer for my SR (S>low A) between the blockers, and the bumper brake kings, I managed to finish 3 places higher than I started (12th >9th) qually was horrible! Had been waiting for the majority of the field to get 1/4 track ahead then laying back to try a flying lap on the second lap out. That track just produces too many problems for one to run into, and that put me into a situation where I had to use every bit of my last lap trying squeeze out a fast one,,,,,which put me behind slower traffic that would not give me a pass.Nations Cup I was literally pitted 1 lap before my scheduled pit ( I was driving the NSX and had to fuel map to keep from having a 2 pit race!) this caused me to fuel map more than I had in practice.I started 9th (traffic in qually) I fell back to 11th when I was pitted while taking 10th,came out 15th then had to fight back through the field to finish 8th.My SR drop put me in with some less than savory drivers,,,,,,,oh well,,,have to grind some to get my ratings back up! @gulfvet67 finished 2nd Manufacturers race! Great Job Bro'!

What an exciting British GP!

Vettel extends his lead over Hamilton just that little bit more.

Three weeks in a row was great but now we need a break. IMSA Canadian Tire Mosport Park race later today at 4pm EST
