I'd like to take a moment to let you guys know about a brand new SNAIL event, created as an attempt to take the level of realism and difficulty to a higher level. It is called the:

SNAIL [Nissan 370Z] Challenge.

Basically what we're attempting to do with this series is to improve the simulation experience offered within Gran Turismo. The Nissan 370Z is the spec car for this series and certain settings are used to help recreate the real-life handling characteristics, grip, and feel of the car. Also more tightly controlled regulations are employed to decrease the amount of tuning the game allows, and to put the focus on driving skill as much as possible. So if you're looking for a more challenging experience, check it out.

A thread for the series is open now, so you can click here if you're interested in finding out more details. Hope to see a few of you guys there.

I'd love to give this a go, but I doubt I'd be able to make a 3 pm race on Saturdays. Unless I wanted to file for divorce :)

It was Browner on the other receiver that was supposed to be running a deeper slant or dig route that would have legally screened Butler from the play and made it an easy throw and catch for a TD.
Not sure that was a hold. The receiver out and out blocked. Browne just jammed him up at the line.
We both know we are splitting hairs here but I miss talking football with my dad. I'm sure he is smiling at our conversion though.

Good prep for GTA :)

It's such a subtle looking thing...

...but man does this thing pack a punch!:eek: WOW :eek:. . .WHAT an amazing product! I have been officially converted to a major Buttkicker fan boy and I will shout it up on high to anyone who gives me their ear!

So my setup isn't the prettiest but we all know you make due with the tools at your disposal. Since I wanted to retain most of the seat travel I needed to set the Buttkicker slightly behind the seat as there is no room to mount it underneath. I wasn't sure how well the 'bass' would travel in this position but I really didn't have any other choice. (Well, a new rig maybe - hmmmm) Had some scrap .125" aluminum leftover from a previous project so I went with that. Sitting between my 'floor' (3/4" plywood) and my seat rails are 5/8" of solid rubber at each corner with the aluminum plate between the rubber and the rails in the back. Pretty simple setup.

We are all here in SNAIL because we love to race. Some of us are a bit older and have been enjoying our hobby for many years. I know for me, I remember being a young kid and spending every quarter I had on any racing type game at my local arcade. The addition of The Buttkicker brings me back to those much simpler times. I feel like a 15 year old kid again! The only difference now is I don't have to find another quarter!

If you're on the fence about getting one - JUMP OFF! You will not regret it! This thing takes our hobby to a whole new level of immersion, one that you will wonder how you ever got by without it.

Thanks Buttkicker! and Thanks SNAIL!

I'm working on setting up the D6 febuary email but I need some help!

How to i add more people to the conversation?

And how do I add people without copy/pasting every name to the list?

I would hold off on that until Wednesday. The reason being that I haven't finalized promotion and relegation just yet.

For those that don't read between the lines, that means that promotion and relegation and new driver placement will be done Wednesday morning pacific time.

ok but i'm still not sure how to do it and could use the practice for example it says only add 10 people yet I added all the full time drivers so that they could fill in the MASSIVE holes left my aero:(

I think you have to be a premium member to add more than 10 people to a conversation. I could be wrong but I think I remember reading that somewhere.

If you click the "edit conversation" tab, you can allow anyone in the conversation to add people to it. That may be a possible work around. If that doesn't work, you'll need a premium member to start the conversation.

Correct, have to be premium to add more than 10, so Ya have to select the "anyone can add " tab.

Edit: so late :ill:
lol late! This is when I finally start to wake up. Except I have to go to bed cause i get to wake up with my kids in the morning.:( so I will lay in bed tossing and turning till about 3 am.
