The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - LAMBORGHINI COUNTACH 25TH ANNIVERSARY 1988 (SS) at Sardegna - Road Track - B - 17:00 Fine Weather (10 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @Kgffy wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 3 - DODGE VIPER SRT10 COUPE 2006 (SS) at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca - 17:00 Clear (10 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @SAMHAIN85 gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @PrivateSmiles so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select should not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to choose the Integra Type R as your car selection, post "Honda Integra Type R (DC2) '98". If you want to select Monza for your track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". Being specific helps us to update the lineup accurately and also helps avoid any confusion among the drivers. Also, please be sure to list the HP and Weight (LBS) of any car you select. For track selections, include the time of day (e.g: 09:00 Clear) or else it will be left to default.

Car Selection Guidelines
See Section 3 of the SNAIL OLR, Policies and Guidelines.

@PrivateSmiles you apologized for hitting me at the end of lap 1 at Sardegna, when in fact it is I who should be apologizing to @JamCar0ne for diving inside at the final chicane, and I do, sorry Jam. However, I do want to thank you for getting me back up to speed after I fouled @JamCar0ne and had slowed to concede. You got me from 98 km/h to 145 instantly. If I had been up a couple of gears I could have caught the 2 in front of me.
Your second tap in turn one might be because I'm 'king of the early brakers'.

I definitely punted you in the Countach going into T1, but I’m glad to hear there are no hard feelings.

See you next Sunday, sir!

I have read the first post and would like to join. I read about SNAIL on GTPlanet

@Blahdadah

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!
Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add zer05ive, JLBowler, nmcp1, Rednose58, MajorBlixem, SAMHAIN85 & llNovall as participants.

The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL

As coronavirus panic reaches a fever pitch – and the World Health Organization officially calling it a pandemic – some people have taken advantage of people’s anxiety for a quick buck.
That includes one teenager in the United Kingdom, who was suspended from school for the day for selling “squirts” of hand sanitizer to his friends at Dixons Unity Academy in Leeds.

Jenny Tompkins posted her son’s moneymaking schemes on Facebook Wednesday, where it amassed nearly 198,000 reactions and 98,000 comments – much of which praised his entrepreneurial savvy.

“Very hard to discipline this behaviour when his dad phones him from work to call him a ****ing legend,” Tompkins wrote on Facebook.

One poster called him a "very enterprising lad."

In all, he made just over $11 from his little grift – after selling each squirt for 64 cents.

What are the proceeds going to be used for? Tompkins said he purchased a bag of Doritos – and plans to buy a kebab with the rest of his cash.

A reminder: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention prefers plain-old hand washing with soap and water, which eradicates all germs, over hand sanitizer.

Official Practice Lobby will be open at 9PM EST

If you plan on doing any future practice on your own in "unofficial" lobbies, I suggest copying the lobby settings upon entering the room tonight. In the future all you'll have to do is "load" those settings when creating a room. Now you have peace of mind knowing your lobby has 100% accurate settings from top to bottom. It also comes with a flashy lobby title - which leads people directly here to the forum when they are browsing online lobbies, which may lead to them becoming members and thus tightening the skill gaps in every division.

When you title your practice lobby "Practice" it doesnt do anyone any favors.

I'll also be running a new format which I tried out last week. A series of 3 shorter races per combo, to accommodate for our new Sunday format of 15+ min races. If we were to run an identical Sunday night, we would have to start each race within minutes of each other, and potentially lockout members and new recruits for 15+ mins if they were to join after the race has started. This format allows for closer racing since the field wont get so spread out

I have been finding my way around GTP racing leagues and forums and have gotten lost a few times. I think I'm in the right place now. Last night I was late to practice and was wondering if anyone got a replay of a race at Laguna Seca in the Firebird? If so can you share it? Not 'will' you, but 'can' you? lol.

9 posts up from yours. @SAMHAIN85 streamed it last night. 👍
