Regarding a concern I've had right from my start in league racing, namely that practicing in a vacuum (solo or against AI cars) I am slow in some high speed sections, slow sections, corner exits.... My first issue was turn 1/2 at Suzuka and most recently Indianapolis corner at Sarthe. In R3R2 I'm on the pole again with @Skills in 2nd. Skills does a great job of following me and we are able to pull away a bit, until the entry to Indianapolis where I go through at 230 km/h and skills is following at over 300! The video shows what Skills had to do and how their last race of the night ended. I would like to avoid this in the future. Sorry @Skills.
I'm not saying I'm in the wrong, I just didn't know the technique and was about 30-100 km/h slower in this corner than everyone else. I was wondering if anyone more experienced would be interested coaching/mentoring me. I'm thinking someone I can reach out to with specific questions about a track, or car, or both. A party chat session for half to one hour by arrangement. The longer the list the less often you're called on.

I'd be willing to help you. I can't say that I'm much better, but in the sections you specified I'm pretty solid.
The only thing you can do is 'Practice, Practice, Practice' (with real people) From that video, you did not do anything wrong. It is up to the guy behind you to make a clean pass. Even if you are 50% slower.
Practicing with AI does not come close at all what you will face on a Snail night. Practice with racers along your same laptimes.. and with some faster drivers to improve your times and have a baseline of what you could do next.

@BB25 asked me to practice with him today. You’re welcome to join us. We haven’t figured out what time yet. He knows I ‘coach’ people & always enjoy helping another driver out.
Where have you been!!!?
A couple days ago I was discussing the people who used to make the banners for snail way back, like @turnupdaheat & @JamCar0ne , I just knew there were other banner pros from the past I was forgetting. Your name was on the tip of my tongue.
Top gear top tip ^^^
That’s how I prepare for FIA sometimes. Gives me a baseline of pace and techniques to try like Wolf said.
Speaking of FIA, I had a great round 1 yesterday! Truly lived up to my brand motto of ‘World class entertainment’
I got held up A LOT, but I have my ways of safely navigating traffic, thanks to my years of snail experience. Had some great, close battles with a former snail super star, Mr. @todally_lit

Been a while since I had bugs with my connection, maybe they made their way to your router?Anyone else experiencing network connection issues?
No problem with the router. I can see your lobby, but can't connect to it. I tried D2. I can go in but it drops me after a few seconds. Have a good night. Will try one more time next week....Been a while since I had bugs with my connection, maybe they made their way to your router?
D1 lobby open. Let me know if you can't see it, had a lobby issue last weekend.

same happened to me
Thanks @aedenmaddok I plan on reaching out to those who offered assistance in the near future.I'd be willing to help you. I can't say that I'm much better, but in the sections you specified I'm pretty solid.

The biggest piece of advice i can give is to stop practicing offline. Make a friends only room that way you can compare pace and find out where you need to improve. If you just race offline you have no idea if you are slow in 1 corner or fast in another.
Replays also work wonders. Watch a replay of the combo/similar combo and see how the faster drivers handle each corner.
