I’ve just attempted the second drag challenge, in my tuned Evo 6 TME (466bhp, 1060kg, sticky tyres etc).
Somehow that FK8 Type R rockets past me after I gap it on launch. I obliterated the Audi in the first drag challenge, but this was very different.
How?! I’m guessing this Type R is tuned, but even so, a FWD car shouldn’t have that much grip. Even a 800bhp FK8 would struggle for grip - probably for the first 1/8 mile rather than 60ft.
It doesn’t seem realistic to me. If it was made clear that this car was running major mods I could kind of accept it. But this is more like “Here’s an FK8 Type R, which as we all know is front wheel drive. Can you beat it in your 4WD Evo with 150bhp more?”
Well, yeah. I should… 🤷🏻♂️
Anyway, not dissing the game or anything, just thought it was a strange little moment. Enjoying it plenty!
Anyone else find this a bit.. odd? It’s very ‘PD’ 😁
