fuji, i hate to do this, but my personal life is just becoming too insane for me to balance a full schedule here with the rest of things.
between work and losing my car and such, there just isn't enough of me. sorry dood. i am with fogulhund, this is an excellent series, and i'm glad i was a part of it. but i sadly must retire the #5 audi from service.

maybe i'll make it for the ss races or for a few races when i have time....just don't expect anything consistent.

its been a blast guys, i've met some excellent people, and wish i could continue. ya'll better keep this thing going...thas all i got to say

this is the mike signing off.
lata yo!

one thing to remember here.

from the FRI FAQ:

6. If a competitor retires from a FRI race season, can they enter later?
A. Competitors must enter before the end of the first SPECIAL STAGE RACE of the season. FRI will not accept any more racers after the first SPECIAL STAGE RACE.

You have a choice of not racing but still be in the season. What i mean is, if i don't have time to race in round 4, i can let it go and see if i can make it to round 5. If you retire, you can't race anymore because the first SS race is finished already.

If you mean you retire from round 4 only, then i understand your point. hehe

i hope you guys understand. If you guys have any questions, PM me on this.

Mike Mk. you must mean you retire from Round 4 right, not the season? it was great having you! It's been competitive since GST and now, in the FRI. I understand your point. When i start working, maybe in th nest few weeks, i might not have time to race also.

Today is the last day for Special Stage Route 5 qualify. Submit your times before your day ends!

Got a question, for anyone who wants to reply:
Could anyone clarify how the LSD settings affect your handling?

I know the "initial" setting affects how much the diff is allowed to slip under heavy acceleration (at launch, for example). The other two "Accel" & "Decel" of course affect how much slip is allowed under acceleration & deceleration circumstances....but how does this actually affect the overall handling of the vehicle??

Appreciate the help, guys!

this is what i have come accross

Accel 32:36
when the gets side ways, it'll stay sideways longer then intended to. Pretty hard trying to get back on track. But this makes it very good for AWD.

Accel 36:36
This setup is a bit more controlable. You get back from a power slide easier.

Decel 8:8
This makes the car very loose which results in good steering. When you let off the throttle in a turn, the AWD car turns in (throttle-steer).

Decel 30:30
This make the car a bit tigher which results in almost no throttle-steer. The car is very stable when braking (very good for MR and FR cars)

The setting sort of effects the throttle-steering and when you start to slide. Making all the numbers low will result in alot of sliding around.

At least this is what i found out........i might be wrong on some points.

i have mine at
I 5:5
A 34:36
D 8:8

well, i'm not gone for just one round....i wish that was the case.

as to lsd, once ya get past the intial trip, ya gotta move on to heroin....lsd just doesn't cut it no mo.
