Talk about the current 2005/2006 season, i hope Southampton beat Wolves this weekend. I so want to see the look on Hoddles face, that trator deserves to lose.

I so hope Southampton beat Burnley this weekend, Southampton really do need to start winning again.

Another draw grrrrr, who do you think will take over as Southampton FC manager now. I don't want Glen Hoddle to be the next manager. Because he is a trator.

You should change the topic of this to "Southampton FC" Thread.

Or the "TVR&Ferrari fan talking to himself" thread.

... and there it is.

Actually, you're right. It's not double posting. Infact, there' 4 posts in a row there.

I urge you, STOP double posting, and then saying it's not. That's a good way to get a mod warning. And you've done it so many times now, it's beggining to get annoying.

Alright then, you're not "Double posting", but you have posted 4 times in a row.

EDIT

Oh and i did look at L4S's posts. He's done it once. You do it several times.

I don't do it over and over again, I only do it in the topics. Which do not get replies for days on end. So there give up Jon.

Swifty moving on from Jon.'s post, what a good win against Luton.

Yeah I can't be bothered copying and pasting different quotes all into the same reply sometimes. No but in all seriousness, this isn't proper double posting or quad posting for you Jon, look at the time between posts. I mean yeah, technically it is, but not in the same way that is frowned upon by the GTP powers. So nice little off topic, err topic here.

And yeah, a very good win against Lutton so I hear 1-0.

This is for a different type of League. The Champions League is a knock out & League Cup comp for all European Teams.

The Championship is English Divison 1 (Below Premier League), League 1 is Divison 2 (Below The Championship), League 2 is Divison 3 (Below League 1).

Yeah I know, I was getting all mixed up in my head, I had multiple threads open.

Not happy about the last result Southampton were winning before Norwich got back into the game. I reckon Mark Wotte would be a great manager for Southampton FC, the former Utrecht and Willem II coach.

Who resigned Feyenoord's technical director on Tuesday would be great for Southampton.

I don't mind Burley his record speaks for itself, he has the right CV to take Southampton FC back to the premiership.

Tycoon buys more shares in Saints

Property tycoon Michael Wilde has increased his holding in Southampton to 4,638,470 shares.

The 53-year-old now owns a 16.51% stake in parent company Southampton Leisure Holdings plc and is looking to increase his shareholding to 18%.

It is understood that Wilde will be considered for a place on the club's board at the end of the current season.

A club statement said he had visited St Mary's and intended to "understand all the day-to-day running of the club."

The lifelong fan's plans for the club are as yet unclear as his previous shareholding would have been enough for him to call an extraordinary general meeting.

Current chairman Rupert Lowe has himself purchased a further 100,000 shares to take his holding up to 6.69%.

The statement continued: "Mr Wilde has confirmed he intends to take a close and ongoing interest in the activities of the club with a view to securing both stability and growth over the coming seasons.

"He has been extremely complimentary about the quality and commitment of staff and most aspects of the business.

"He has highlighted areas where he believes improvements can be made."

Sky blues for Saints chairman

SAINTS fans will take to the air for their latest anti-Rupert Lowe protest.

A plane is set to parade a `Time To Go Rupert Lowe' banner over St Mary's for 15 minutes during this weekend's clash against Cardiff City.

It has been organised in conjunction with Season Ticket Holders United (www.saintschat.co.uk/STHU.pdf) by a trio of Saints fans - Jason Flynn, Jake Carman and John Noble.

An exiled Saints fan in America, Robert Verheijen, has paid the £600 to hire the single-engined Cessna 172 Skyhawk from Isle of Wight firm AirAds for the afternoon.

Flynn, 34, said: "The stewards at St Mary's confiscate every banner in the ground so we're having to take to the air to make our feelings known.

"None of us are happy with the way the club has been run over the last few years and this is the only way we can do it."
