You will run on Mazda Raceway Laguana Seca. Or Laguana Seca in free run. The weight and mods is unlimited. No hybriding.

OK. GTs R- Man well do a gt2 and a gt3. If you want to do GT2 you can if you want to do GT3 you can. The results will be split into two catergorys. GT2 And GT3. Just when you tell me by pm(Private Messaging) say whether you are doing GT2 or GT3.

Im more in tune with the viper but if im reading the rules correct Vipers are not allowed (team Oreca)

I need to know 1 thing before i post times

The C5R this car cost's the exact amount for the challenge...
My point being are you allowed to change settings on the car eg ride height etc... but nothing else not even tyres

Or is it to be driven straight out of the dealers no tweaking of any sort allowed

Or we can run the car both ways to compare times One.. out the box ... one with tweaking what you think...

My best was with the viper oreca and I gat 1:18:448. That is preety good for no tweaking.

I was playing with the Penzoil Skyline today.
With Supersofts, and a Stage III Turbo I came in under 900K CR.
My time was 1:14.296
If I get a "wild hair", and some time, I'll give it a go tomorrow or Friday with the Vette. And maybe, just maybe, I'll build up a Lotus Sport 350 for kicks and giggles. 😈

Nascarnut, you had a great time. I just spent my money better.
I haven't tried it yet, but I think an RX-7 type RZ, with full mods can run in the 1:15's
Remember my Skyline had a stage 3 turbo, better tires, and I did some suspension and tranny tweaking. If I put in MORE time with the Skyline I could bring that time down. It was somewhat squirrely in the handling dept. I also need to play with the Limited-Slip.
I also have tweeked enuff (790 days on one mem card and over 300 on another) that I have a "magic" suspension set-up that I start with as my baseline and I fine-tune from there.
I doubt I could pull out a basically ARCADE C5R and beat your time.
Remember the Skyline is lighter than the C5R, and with the Stage 3 turbo, I had a 100 HP advantage.
