Everytime I go to a drift seasonal the the same name pops up(or atleast they all have the same key word in them) I have seen him pop up as rb_firooz and firooz_gt and i have even seen GTP_firooz but upon searching for him found nothing here on GTP. I am no pro drifter usually golding after 20-30 tries. I'd really like to know what he uses(controller wise) and his setup. To be able to score 4-5x the required gold points is good. Does anyone know who this is?

The points system is stupid honestly, the slower you go, more points you get & the Speed 12 gets big points because of how much from the racing line is covered. If you take the best line for a drift, not the race line, you get less points, it's ridiculous.

Yeah, the Cerbera Speed 12 is kind of a cheat car when it comes to drift seasonals; the leaderboard is always full of them. Mainly because it's so powerful you don't even need to try to drift, the 1000HP engine always smokes the tires, even when you're not doing a drift trial.

Drift seasonals mean nothing, they use a mixture of tires to keep grip but still go slow as possibe + everything stated above

I was just wondering who it was and why they use the speed 12. I remember in gt4 it was nearly impossible to drift. I also seen a lot of lupo cup cars toward the top. It's not only small but its FF.

Sai-66 is the #1 North American drifter as far as I'm concerned. 🤬 all that seasonal BS.

You guys should save this picture for any near future:

 I cracked up when I saw that. Getting gold in the seasonals is easy. In Australia I usually see one guy on top usually yet I have never seen him in an open drift lobby. Seasonals are good for a quick million but otherwise it's not worth competing for top. Also, if yo come first ranked when the seasonal is over do you win any special prize? As far as I know it's for nothing

I'm agreed with Kiwi. Quick million to use it to buy other cars for online use :sly:

i feel pressured to live up to this expectations lol.

i'm sure many will question this too hahaha

I'd like to see somebody prove me wrong. Until then, I honestly believe your #1 in N/A. I have faith in you Sai lol..

I'm the best COME AT ME BRO!...Nah I'm playin but seasonals really upset me... I hit 2nd at one point but only because people were limited to 1 car only... and about a day after i dropped into the 1000 range lol.

I actually got #1 rank one time because I did right when it was released. I was on my M5. Checked half an hour later & was around #130, the damn Speed "Noob Car" 12 had taken over.

I've drifted with SAi once, & He stuck to my door like superglue. He's Deff the Takumi Fujiwara of GT5! Hope to drift with you again some day SAi. 👍

Why I don't see anyone of you top 10 if it's so easy....
Just go and smokes the tires, it cant be that hard

Check my Tokyo DT replay and you see how slow I drift..
And yes its racecar what most peeps have and I can borrow mine.
Cya on TOP10 :)

EDIT: If someone want try how easy is drift with "cheat car" Speed12 I can put rb_firooz tune on it and share 👍

Just because you score high in seasonals, doesnt actually make you good. Join a comp and win atleast once, then talk about you being good. What makes you good is winning comps, and smooth tandems. Not solo drifting and scoring high with an absolutely horrific points system.

It makes me good on seasonals that is what I'm talking about..

Yeah, GTP Comps, are pretty hard, considering half of the people in the comp are pro's and can already nail a 100/100 without practice. so yeah.

Who should be tagged for best drifter in other countries? Sai would be #1 in north america and MonsterGAUZ would be #1 in Germany. Who else should be tagged?

 that'd be a fitting title for you. Stavingo: best in OZ. What about the Kiwis? Theres a couple names that spring to mind...

You can add the Aston Martin V8 Vantage '99 to the Speed 12 in terms of the unfair advantage.

Agreed, but for different reasons. Speed 12 has already been mentioned why it's good for seasonals, so I'll touch on the Vantage. The Vantage is easier to handle. It's made for the noob drifter and can make an intermediate drifter feel good about their drifting ability. I can easily double the gold mark with it, but some tracks take a little work to accomplish it. V8 Vantage FTW!! LOL Seriously though, my favorite is fast becoming the Toyota Supra. Even easier to handle than the V8, just not as good in the drift trials. I'm going to continue using the V8 for drift trials, but the Supra will be my online car from last Saturday on... until I get good with the ZR1...

On a side note, If you guys see me online with CM tires on a dark red supra, just give me a break, cause I'm still learning. I'll be back on CH when my instructor (MSTER232) thinks I'm ready to be fast with them.
