My 50 inch plasma may have died today. What should I do?
Replace it with a big 70 inch or so plasma
Replace it with 3 TVs or monitors for gaming
Replace it with a giant projector

I've always loved the looks of plasmas over any other TV so unless it's the triple screen option I don't want any LCD or LED or OLED suggestions. I'n the past I have used that TV as the center of my media station. I used it for blu rays, ps3, pc and 360. Not so much for the ps3 or 360 though as of late.

I've always wanted to go projector and now there are some really good 3D projectors out there that also do 2D very well and are plenty fast enough for gaming, but it's gonna be alot of work to setup a projector and get the room ready for one, plus it would be by far the most expensive route.

I've loved my single screen plasma since I've had it. It's great for movies and games, and works really well for all around use but isn't perfect at either one.

I would absolutely love to go triple screen, but that would kill the entire setup for watching movies.

I'm mostly into sim racing games, mainly iracing again, and shooters. The shooters though are strictly console and their is no way I would buy 3 xboxs to play a shooter or forza.

What do you guys think. Which would you go with?

Yea 1 tv, or if you are willing to spend $ on a projector

The more I think about it I might just go with a single decent TV. Were considering a new house and if we get it I could use the new TV in the family room, and set me up a projector with a triple screen hidden behind it for PC gaming.
If all turns out well with the new house I'm gonna need all kinds of ideas for how to get my game room going / theater setup. It will be an attached 2 car garage but we will use it for my room because the people there now use it for living space also. There's an unattached 3 car garage beside the house and we can use that for the wife's little car collection. Then I'm gonna need some ideas how to put my room together. I've always had some ideas for what I want to do if I had a big enough room, but really don't know the best way to do it.

Or... You could donate some of your money to me.

I don't really have it to donate. If we take out a 30 year loan for a house then a few more grand added to that is nothing.

Replace your plasma with a smaller plasma instead of a 70 inch and get a triple monitor setup with the money you save buying a smaller TV.
