i"ve been playing gt3 since it first came out off and on i finally got back to racing again lately but i"m stuck at 98% complete and not sure what else to race for the last 2%.i presently have all golds in all classes of all races in simulation and have cleared all of the clear status in arcade.the only thing i haven"t done is all golds in the licence department and now working on that , not sure if it is necessary though.what else is there to do for the 100% completion status?would appreciate any help.

dave:confused: :banghead:

Me and some friends have talked about this..... you say you have cleared all the arcade status....... did you do the time trials? I think that may be your missing puzzle piece.

Super Dave, Yes, it's very likely that you have the remaining 10 Time trials to complete. As a warning, the game seems to stick at 99%. Once you have completed all ten of the time trials it will kick over to 100%.

for 100% you need to: 1 Finish GT mode with wins in all races and all licences (bronze will do as stated earlier)
2 Finish Arcade mode, all tracks and all cars unlocked
3 Complete the time trial mode faster than the default times

It's alright, calm down! Like everyone else said, the remaining 2% lies in the time trials. Let me warn you, the time trials aren't very fun and can be frustrating, especially the Tahiti Maze one!

Your dang right it is!  :banghead:

That one took me a bunch of trie to finaly beat it.
:)

One thing that helps make the TimeTrials a little easier and less frustrating is to work on them along with trying to get Gold on the Licences. A number of the License tests are parts of the Time Trials (e.g. Tahiti Maze and Complex String). Work a little on each, and by the time you can run Silver routinely and Gold occasionally on the Licenses, the Time Trials won't seem so tough.

I've heards about 100% alot, never seen a shot of it, though..

oooooooooh boy let me tell you.. thats the only time trial I have done... And it took only like about oh say 50 tries at it... nah im being modest.. more so around 7,092 times

i remember when i got 100%, i jumped for joy:lol: but then one day i come downstairs and my brother decided to start a new game and "accidentally" save it on my memory card:mad:.I never got back to 100%, i'm at 42% right now.

i was stuck in the maze one for a while but then just went to super smooth mode rather than flat out and wone it...
complex string however is more fustrating

I recently got gold on that last time trial. Lemme just say, running TT10 is a buttload more frustrating than TT9, and I hate rally more than I hate RUFs.

ok, so you hafta get 1st place times in ALL of the time trials?

ANd with arcade mode, do you hafta win each race with any class, or do you hafta beat each race once with each class, or what? Never really understood that part...

...plus, if your trying to get 100% in simu mode, why do they make you do some stuff in arcade? Why not put a little place on your map thats like... "Trials Racing" or somthin...not fun...like that...........

..............ok nevermind...but Im still asking the first few questions...

funny...i found the Tahiti Maze to be somewhat easy when I did it....=P
I guess it's cuz I used to only rally race in GT3 cuz I loved the Peugeot 206 sooo much ^_^
anyone get under 1'53"00 with their own cars on the track?

The Tahiti Maze TT was a pain for me too. I found out that if you don't brake, and accelerate easy, you will get a good time.

I still have the Tahiti Maze to do for all golds on the License Tests. once complete it, I will have all golds for the fourth time.

The Complex String was a pain because I couldn't turn off the traction control crap, but I got it done. I never use it because it slows the car down too much.

Yes. 1st place in all ten time trails.

Just beat the "Hard" mode single races. This automatically completes the Easy and Medium races. (Professional level does jack for completion).

There are actually 3 stages to the game. The 100% you refer to is actual game completion, not Sim mode completion. If you win all the races in Sim mode, you do win a car. This brings up the coveted "Win 4 F1's" sequence. If you complete Arcade mode first, then SIm mode, with the F1 race as the last run you'll win 4 F1's. One for finishing the F1 Series, one for completing Pro level, one for completing Sim Mode, and One for 100%. The Drum roll never ends ;)

so far i"m working on the complex string tt 10 but i still have 1 sec. to shave off the others wrern't too bad once you can best the first demo times the rest flowed rather smoothly tt 9 only took 3 tries to pass and was the easiest so far tt 7 was the hardest to complete so far because of the inconsistancy of starts thru the first corner.hopefully i"ll have it completed befor the weeend is over.

thanks to all for the help finding out what i had left to do.i'll be posting pics of my best tims on varied tracks later ilove laguna seca thrack the best and i do have a replay save that shows a 103 time for best lap time that iknow by heart.

thanks dave

To help you get the TT10 just follow the demo and see where you lose time...TT10 can be hard because it takes the longest and you have to hold on longer without screwing up.
