The 1000 kilometres of Spa is a endurace event that has been held since 1953. It has become one of the biggest endurance events on the calendar over the year and it is my facourite. I have decided to create this event in GT5 because I love Spa Francorchamps and just as much Le Mans prototypes. The LMP class from this race also features in Reshiram5's 360km races which is currently the 360 km of Suzuka.https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=279598

Qualifying
Qualifying will be held on the 20th of April. The qualifying session will be 1 hour long. It will be held in free run mode. The fastest time set at the end of the session will be on pole position for the race next day. The rest on the grid positions will be in order of the fastest times.
Race
The formation for the start will be double file rolling start in the positions from qualifying. All cars must stick to a speed limit of 60 mph/100 km/h for the formation lap. You may begin accelerating when the car ahead of you begins to. The 145 lap race will begin at the sportscar start/finish line (straight before eau rouge). There is no compulsory amount of pitstops. The race will finish after roughly six hours at the gp circuit start/finish line. The race may be shortened if no one is willing to do the full six hours.
Penalties
For any penalties there must be a complaint by another driver. I will review the incident and decide what the penalty will be. For qualifying the penalties may be the lap time the incident was on removed, grid drop or a exclusion from the race. In the race I will review the incidents and will give a time penalty after the race if it is needed. For corner cutting if you go wide onto the grass in a corner just lift off the accelerator so you wont gain any time.
Cautions
There will be no safety car as I will be racing but there will be a caution system in place. If you have a crash you must say which corner it is on and overtaking will be dissolved until you are back on track. Any overtakes on that corner will result in a penalty.
