12" screen or tablet Laptop that does PS?

Ok, I'm looking for a new laptop with a 12" screen or tablet Laptop that basically does PS without being slow. The closest I could find was a IBM Think pad X41. I like the IBM because it has a "joystick" like mouse instead of the touch pad that can get annoying. Anyway, are there any other laptops I should look at? It doesn't have to be the latest and greatest.

-The laptop can have a 13.3" but I prefer smaller.
-Doesn't have to have a cd/dvd drive.
-Wireless net connect preferred greatly.
-Budget I guess would be around $500.

How much are you willing to spend? A Dell Latitude D430 clocks in at $1200USD with a U7600, 40Gb HD, 1Gb RAM, CD/DVD combo, etc.

Thats going to be hard to find for that price. A screen alone for a laptop cost about $600, I know the HP tx1000 series are excellent for the price, but you said 500 is the price range, so, this is the best I could do

Also, just out of curiosity, what exactly are you going to be doing in photoshop?

I realize NEWER stuff is out going to be out of my budget but I don't think you guys are understanding my level of when I say it doesn't have to be the latest and greatest. I'm talking like P4 level. Or stuff used off craigslist. I just need to know if I should be looking at a different make or model.
