180SX FastBack Type X Drift Setting

I usually used this settings for all the cars that i drift with, it really works for me as a Universal Drift settings for all the Fr Cars. But just the Gear Ratio just need to set different with different HP. But can anyone try my settings, and tell me if its a good setting or not. I really need a better settings, if you can tell me what i need to change, then i will change it and test it if it works better or the same. I also used this setting for my Contest Video with Drift260Z, if you would like to see how it is used, then watch that video when it is posted after the scores decisions. Thanks and hope you guys can help me.

ur a retard. the kouki 180sx never came out in the US so the name they gave it in GT3 is incorrect. and its supposed to be a 180SX not a 240SX. any true dori fan would know that.

T8's with those settings?👎
I have my RPS13 with normals or sports on it. I also have another one with 275hp with sims allaround. That's too many power mods you have there, and way too sticky tires with that low of horsepower. ;)

i can make them but ur gonna have to send me a $2

oh well i guess no one is skill enough to try my skill level so F#@k it, dont called me stupid, if you cant drift with T8 tires, please dont called me stupid, you're stupid thats why you need low HP, why does rael drifter like the D1 have high HP cars, it doesnt matter about the tires, a skill driver should drive in any tires, but thats my opinion, im sorry for wasting space, but who cares. Oh well no one is skill enough, i shuold erase it.

we'll its all good, but i like my T8, because i can do the exact thing as Sim does, so its all good, i dont want to get arguments again, but i just want people to try my settings, i guess sharing has no caring. Good luck to you stock setting drifter and Sim people, i'll have my own fun and you'll have you're own fun.

You have got to settle down man. It sounds like your going to explode. Most of the best drifters around here will tell you that if you want to have smooth drifts you should start with sims. This does not mean you should only use sims, it just means starting with sims gives you more control and better idea of what the car needs to drift well. I am not saying your settings don't work, I tried them and they are ok, but you will have smoother drifts with a better HP+tire combo, that better reflects the horserpower you are using. I have many cars with high HP with T*'s, but you don't need to use T8's in the 500hp range, there's just no reason. If you don't want constructive feadback, then don't post and ask for peoples input. I personaly do not think those settings are very balanced, and your bound and rebound looks way to low. That is my opinion, but obviously you don't need anyone to help you out. Furthermore, there is a forum dedicated to posting settings, I suggest you post them there in the future. ;)

i think your settings are okay... the T8's would be better if TCS was 0. (it's already sticky as is...why use TCS?) oh and i also think your rear camber is too high at 3.

overall, i found that your settings are driftable, however does not suit my style... your settings ain't bad.... ain't bad at all :)

well the settings in your drift vids seemed half decent, a little too much power overcoming grip, arcadish type feel, but it looks pretty cool. To each their own, every1 has their own style of drift. I just tried to set up my 180SX Type X for drift and I had to up the power to 436 or put sims on it just to make it stay sideways as it was, I cant imagine puttings really grippy tires and TCS/ATC on it o_0 I did come up with a very stable setup in the end tho :)

may i add that since everyone has their own style, everyone should have their OWN different/personal settings.

enough said.

hey im sorry for bursting out, well i seem to like driving T8 tires, well on the settings, you dont have to put T8, you cant put any tires on. We'll i seem to drive my settings very good, but thanks for trying though, and thanks for the comments Silviadrifter, you're right about what you have said.

ouch, did you miss the pic of it? Doesn't it look EXACTLY like a 180SX? and isn't the american model a 180 but called 240? YOu need to learn your drift machines son

240sx in America are powered by the KA24DE. In Japan Silvias and 180sx's are powered by CA18DET's and SR20DET's. That's the major difference between the two.

And here in Spain it's called 200SX type-X (SR20)

Night_drifter: Yesterday I did few laps on Trial Mountain, and I found the car far more driftable than I expected (with T8s, high spring....etc), and each lap I did I felt the car better, and I could press the accel harder. Very good work.
I put my custom gear ratios.
And for me it's better the TCS -> 0
